I’m confused. Last time I checked Grobbulus is like a 52-48 split, and the most balanced pvp server out of all of them.
Grobb will be saved if 6000 people xfer off so we can play

It is the most balanced, but there was concern about it tilting more to the Horde. Locking transfers here will help negate that.
None of these people are leaving for actually dead servers. It doesn’t save anything

Ah, that makes more sense. I enjoy the balanced aspect of it. Depending on how many people transfer away from it could cause issues, though. Hopefully, it all works out.

It’s up to 55-45, which is nearing a tipping point. Any further and the lower faction inevitably peaces out.
I don’t see Alliance transferring away, because we have no where else to go. The concern is more Horde coming here.
This. With Benediction locked, grobb alliance have no where to go.

Do you get these numbers from an addon or a specific site? The couple that I checked have it at 50/50 or 47/53, but who knows when they are updated? Just trying to figure out the most updated info.
Sulfuras is about to be 99%-1% Horde favor even worse than before lol feel bad for them

Activision implementing this has nothing to do with faction balance on Grobbulus. Note that it is implemented as well for the 99% servers like Benediction. It is for the overpopulated servers to prevent them becoming worse.
It will help avoid for the time being Horde continuing to swing to more populated. I say this as a Horde on Grobbulus.
We all wondered about the human racial and it’s affect, but I think people are more savvy now and know it has little effect unless you are bleeding edge 1800 or higher or something in arena. And also you would have to raid…which those persons tend not to do.
But we are in a new age of credit-card whales and GDKP…so who knows.
Here’s to hoping some transfer off, it gets more balanced/stays balanced and Grobb stays great.

As the only RPPvP server, I don’t think so.
This type of server has its own funky vibe to it. We’re more loyal to it than the other types.

Who’s we though? Grob wasnt the first successful balanced server. My old server netherwind was a great and balanced server for all of classic and part of tbc until the day finally came of the exodus. We’ve seen it before, no loyal grob followers can stop what’s already in motion.
