The RPPVP Community Discord came to be during that thread actively pushed for RPPVP (https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/rp-pvp-realms-reconsider-one-realm/130723) on the WoW forums.
We provide a mature discord with a clean layout — and our goal remains the same! Fostering the Roleplaying Community, make friends, create events. Featuring an open roleplaying channel for either faction to indulge in!

This one is different from the reddit discord, yes. Our discord was created during that RPPVP megathread to try to get a RPPVP server (June 22).
I’m personally fine with the discords because each fosters a different community inside and the discord app allows you to have many bookmarked.
Understandable. But when it comes to discord Nitro boosts matter. IT gives a little more quality to the discord don’t you think?
Wouldn’t it be nice for our server to back the same discord and make it the best?
Right now I see 11 boots for one and 0 for the other but this is the only post I have found for the discord. Just my thoughts though Ill probably keep both like you suggested

Well yes, a discord of that size naturally will have boosts.
The moment RPPVP was announced the reddit discord came about, and with reddits power and popularity as a website it grew quickly.
Many of the users enjoy both discord servers, since each caters to a different community and preference.
I have no issues with the reddit community and it is fun to see the hype they have for our new RPPVP server. I believe we can co-exist in peace.

grobbulus isn’t an RP realm, it will be a PVP realm with three wierdos erping in a stormwind cellar
Whitemane is the correct choice of PST server. You suckers rolling on grob to erp with those three bros in the stormwind cellar could just erp on Whitemane and save yourself the 40ms of ping
