Oh. I wonder if there are faction locks in place. I transferred Horde and Alliance yesterday, but haven’t tried yet today. I’ll have a look when I’m at my desktop and post back…

I completed the transfer of four Alliance characters to Grobbulus earlier today. So Alliance is open anyway.
It’s got to be faction locking that’s the issue. That’s so bad for whole guilds that want to transfer over together.

Well, I see the option for Horde characters from Whitemane and Faerlina, but I don’t see Grobb listed for Alliance on Benediction! (I don’t currently have any Horde on Bene to test with). That is strange though, since it was there yesterday.
I wonder if they closed Bene → Grobb transfers for some reason…
I’m not seeing the option from Bene Alliance, so I’m not sure that’d be the case, if the OP is trying from Bene Horde.
I’m willing to bet they shut down all transfers from benediction for the faction imbalance as it’s 99% ally as a way to slow down ally transfers then, probably because they couldn’t figure out how to actually stop it by faction.
I’m not interested in playing on a pve server so I hope this gets solved sooner rather than later.
Seemingly impossible to make a ticket. Have a whole guild of horde players ready for Grobbulus. Do staff check this board? Not sure how to go about even contacting them. This whole thing is a disaster and should have never taken place to begin with.

Yeah maybe! I had no issues transferring Alliance from Benediction and Faerlina yesterday.
I am also able to create new Horde and Alliance on Grobbulus, if that is any indication as to whether it is faction locked.
A friend of mine came over from Horde side on Bene, so I know it can be done…
Could be their balancing thing that is preventing imbalance.

Sent two of my toons from Alli bene to grob this morning then I tried sending the rest this evening and it’s not an option. Figured it’s a balancing issue. Would be a crap deal to force us to a pve server.
and some may be greedy.
I looked at my 3 whitemane chars. And said lets be here real here…i’ve not touch 2 of them since forever.
Stripped down naked in game, sold off all items not worth mailing, and the level cap BE DK was just moved.
Deleted the other 2 to cleap up tab. Legacy is just atiesh now. Active is jsut Grobb. OCD is appeased for now lol.
It was available for Horde and not Alliance right now, just try often and you’ll get it.
It isn’t a balancing issue. If I check if I can transfer on my horde char on Bene I cannot. If I check it on my horde char on Faerlina, I can. Something is clearly borked.

Yeah, you see there were 2 horde 99% pvp’s to the one alliance 99% ones.
I brought that up in the combine pvp threads in the past.
With no guarantee in that as old idea, now this…all of alliance would go to the 1 pvp.
Some of that 99% bene, wanted the 99% lol.
I hope all get they want. But…NS in anniv had people going I can’t create chars a good while.
Try often, hope to catch a window is the only workable solution. not the most fun one I will admit, but its the working one though.
Still not working for benediction, even the horde players. @blue please help inform us what’s going on.

Grobbulus isn’t a super server it’s a SUPER Problem!!
Since MSN Morons now covered as Blizzard, didn’t offer guild or factions transfer which would of been more efficient, this had created a backlog of data transfer that clogged the system. A guild with 2+ years of wwor effort and massive revenue for Activision, is being completely ignored, compensation will be expected. The guild with about 80 active account with over 450 chars. decided day 1 to bite the bullet and get an early start on reforming on Grobbulus . Day 1 everyone put in for the transfer. Within 24 hours about 20% made the transfer ( Been a member since 2004. (OG old school) MY OWN EXP i have 3 account on Battlenet with approximately 32 players on Benediction 8 CHARS MADE IT (one only 2 accounts) . WITHIN 24 HOURS, WITH NO WARNING!!! they locked transfer to Grobbulus, offer and ERROR in transfer that the realm is no longer accepting transfer. now being forced to only choose Ray-Den (PvE). Note. back on the real old Day. this faction overload naturally was Horde was Dominate, until they starting tweaking horde char forcing player to change to alliance. Benediction is Pvp server with 99% Alliance. WOW sole roots became attracted to the PvP aspect. Replies from Blizzard :

Benediction server char count 14,134, 99% alliance vrs Grobbulus with 4590 and a reported alliance 2390 Alliance to Horde of 2578, DO the MaTh Morons, if only 50% took the free transfer say 7000, The insane Morons at blizzard just created a Faction imbalance. Offering no faction option What on god’s earth is to be expected. The Morons at blizzard failed once again to address the Math in the lieu of profit. offering ZERO faction change, and asking us paying customers to give up guild perks, and established business and system facts they have open a can of worms, that will cause a huge loss in revenue and player leaving.
Question that Need a immediately Answered:
- What compensation will be offered to players put into a huge catastrophic problem and a complete disruption of game play expiring a unfair and unfun experience.
- How can we restore our char back to Benediction until you Moron get your ^4*8 straight. ( with full Guild Rep and perks.
- Have the forums updated with solutions not just Biden empty promises
- Will you offer a faction change (free) most people from the old days will go back to Horde.
- Stop the censorship of content as were Paying customers and your violation your own TOS.
- Offer immediate solutions, not Forums blow offs that offer no real answers.
As a Stockholder of Activision, I can address this with the Board in a open Financial arena and would love to test your PvP Skills in a open legal Arena!
