Hopefully looking for a blue response. The 06/27/2024 12:00am Ashenvale event on Crusader Strike - Horde, someone kited a civilian “Jayla” from Mystral Lake in Ashenvale to the Alliance Research Device Base causing multiple people to hit this civilian NPC accidentally, and giving unintentional dishonorable kills to unwitting participants. This was clearly intentional by the griefer. The civilian NPC is positioned nowhere near this area. Clearly a grief/harass situation causing a major setback to many players for their PVP ranks.
It appears to be happening more frequently as I have just viewed a few others posts relating to this.

I was there with you and got the DHK also. This is clearly griefing and Blizzard needs to do something to address this issue. Looking at the forums it’s happening all over Crusader Strike. Can’t believe I’m going to lose rank over one jerk.
Blizzard this is such a simple problem to fix, what’s stopping you??

As much as I love Alliance tears this is nearly griefing in it’s definition. There is no PvP solution to this PvP issue.
But there is… have someone intercept the griefer and kill them while they are kiting the npc
Your solution is have someone monitor every single civilian NPC on the continent so they can’t be kited into a PVP spot.

The griefer would be on the same side as us so couldn’t kill them even if we managed to catch them.

Braindead take. If you’re grouped to kill the boss and heal someone you get the DK. they can be pulled into someones standard rotation and get clipped. They are level 25 civies and just blow up.
its actually worse than this, if you are grouped with anyone and don’t do anything you get the DHK, it works the same way as honorable kills do, you can be afk and get them, just need to be in range
so basically the person in your group who attacks npcs is griefing the rest of their group and are the ones deserving the ban?
They really need to fix civilian griefing, particularly for DMF. It’s so unfair to Horde. They need to make civilians immune to all damage and remove DKs entirely, or make a change that only direct damage incurs the DK.
they need to remove DHKS from the game, they just make the game a crap

There have been multiple people from the horde on CS US that have made alliance characters doing this for weeks now to alliance players at the DMF and at Shredder. Sounds like they did it enough to irritate someone and they’re now doing it back.
It’s such a feels bad moment when you are just participating in the Ashenvale event and you get dishonorable kills. It was never meant to be like this. Dishonorable kills really need to be removed so griefers lose their ability to hurt players
Stop grouping with war criminals… Easy.
