Greifers...RMT... bots...are thwy reallt the issue. I say No

Im a retail casual player. And i understand there is a learnig curve, be it pvp(that curve is harsh af) or pve and how a new player comes in. And what their experience is. Lets face it. If you dont pick the isle with the ogres, you dont really get any sort of tutorial. But the comunity ignores everyone.
I tried it as a lowbie asking questions in general. And i got crickets. To those thay say server community is dead. Its your own fault cause you dont listen to the server .

We gotta start listening to the server yall. Too long have we ignored our servers.

but when was the last time you gave someone good advice when they asked in game.
Judging by your attitude, when they beat you on the DMG tables.
Before you say it though. no one wants advice from hunters

Literally just yesterday when a person joined my guild. I helped them out all day because they’re new, and I imagine they’ll have questions to ask today too.

idek whut you’re talking about bud.

This requires people to be in the same zone (or a major city). So youre not going to get many responses this way.

I would suggest wowhead or icyveins for all your questions.

I would also suggest grammarly to help with titles and posts.

guild, not a randome really

my achieves mean nothing when it comes to community
if i need numbers to prove my worth, then you’re SOL and JWF cause i abandoned that mentality when gearscore came in, which was the death of server community. cause ever since then everyone only cares about how they can help you, not how you can help them… the in is my rub, so thanks for proving the problem

uhh, ok?

You’re in your own little world. Aren’t you, rofl.

Just gonna add this here.

I’m not trolling. I am dead serious. We all use those sites.

I feel bad for these compromised accounts looking for forum bans.

but you missed the point, it whized over your head like a giraffes fart

Most questions I answer I look it up on those sites for people haha.

I try to help when I can.

But if it’s about certain quests that I am unfamiliar with that can be really hard off the top of my head.

Your point is, a 20 year old game is too complicated for new players without having to visit 20 sites for help. Well, good news. Anyone who is new to WoW probably has common sense to use Google. This is not just some “pick up anywhere and go for it game”. It has a long history, tons of ability bloat, required rotations, and secrets so touch there are 70k people in one Discord trying to riddle them out every day. I’m going easy on you verbally cause you are a new, and picked a dragon of all things. But anyone who thinks this is a walk on game, is in for a shock.

Also, only Trolls live in game chat.

Are you aware of a resource provided by Blizzard to ask your newbie questions and hope for an answer?

FWIW, experience is still the best teacher. Worthwhile things don’t usually come with a users’ manual.

I played the noob, and asked for help. does it matter if i have 10 years exp playing the game or 5mins. everyone whines that the community is dead, and this is why it is, cause no body helps. out side of go look at this, or reseach that. you should all be ashamed as thast not a community, thats palming off stuff that you can’t do or don’t care about.
You all say blizzard killed the community with the RDF and RRF, but no, your selfishness did,

Also sometimes new players may ask for things that will take a long time to do and so they won’t get an answer. I remember I ran a new person through black temple once because they were continuously asking in the general chat of Stormwind because they saw somebody with warglaives equipped back when they were not as class restricted.

Having to explain they might not drop to them, getting them to the raid, running them through the raid, and then seeing one drop and not being able to roll on it felt sort of bleh.

I saw it again in sw chat a long time later, a newbie asking for something similar and I didn’t say anything that time. No thanks.

but why shouldn’t we ask the community?.. oh because they shut you down or ignore you because they need to wait for their Q to pop

You’re lamenting the loss of community. Which is true IRL as well as in-game.

It’s gone. You can mourn it but don’t expect it to come back any time soon.
