Green eyes for void elves

While I could make a loreful argument for Void Elves being allowed to use Blood Elf Green eyes. I think right now that would be just too much and rather focus more towards the actual Void themes of the race. About the only non-Void Theme option I could want right now, is the ability to turn off the visual effect of Entropic Embrace. But, even that is basically like putting the Cherry on the cake. So, right now I personally DO NOT SUPPORT Void Elves getting green eyes. Maybe in the farther flung future, but not right now.

Based on lore, Iā€™d say never. Fel leaked into blood elves from living around fel crystals, and with the cleansing of the Sunwell theyā€™ve not been around Fel for years and years. Those blood elves captured and stuffed full of Void may have started with green eyes, that were fading from lack of Fel, but theyā€™re overloaded with Void now. Theyā€™d first have to find a way to drain out the Void, then connect with a bit of Fel, to get green eyes again.

I see it more as a Blood Elf starting to learn how to harness the power of the Void. They would have their green eyes for a time, then eventually as time went on they would more than likely turn more Void coloration (much the same with the Blue eyed High Elves.) That is just how I look at it though, could be entirely wrong as well. But, as I said prior; Iā€™m more for getting more Void themes right now than any non-Void theme stuff, except for that one thing I mentioned with Entropic Embrace.

Give them an inch they take a mileā€¦

Woah easy there friend. I was completely cool with velfs being the way they were initially in legion. The new skin colors were unexpected but welcome. Love you Rosey.

:grapes:

No, we were exiled before the incident with Alleria.

You should perhaps practice what you preach.

There are Void Elf Warlocks, you know.

Says the guy who thrives on headcanon and on ignoring all that happened in the intro scenario for Void Elves.

You know itā€™s funny, my ex bf used to say there was no way void elves would get natural skin tones, then it happened!

Then he said we wouldnā€™t get natural hair tones, then it happened!

He has taken several Lā€™s recently the poor guy and he reminds me of some of these salty posters on these forums

Yes I know that. However there is a difference between using a power and a power being part of your makeup. Shadow Priests of various races use the Void without it being a part of them.

You donā€™t need to use Fel for it to affect your eye glow.

High Elves living in Outland canonically also have green eyes. The simple radiation of Fel makes your eyes glow green.

Honestly all Warlock players should have the option to have green eyes, not just Blood Elves.

Strong arguement coming from one who relies on headcanon. You asked me to quote where you quoted fake lore, but yet, you didnā€™t even see my reply to you where you claim VEā€™s are not HE, in terms of Blizzard lore.

But hey Midare, you do you I suppose.

Sometimes Iā€™d love to use a time machine and see how people from the past who would continuously tell us ā€œVoid Elves are your High Elvesā€ discuss with their present-day version.

Anyway, itā€™s absurd to think otherwise. Theyā€™re all High Elves, infusing yourself with magic doesnā€™t make you another race. LF Draenei are still Draenei. And Demon Hunters are still Night/Blood Elves apparently if the game UI is canon.

I mean they can have green eyes, just not fel green glow. Highelves/blood elves have had green irises.

They could be green but not glow green, no fel radiation.

They can also add like Yog-saron green pit eyes. The color isnā€™t a problem per say.

So they can maybe get green eyes, but they would be empty pockets with teeth eyelashes!

Are you talking about Void Elf customizations?

I personally donā€™t care whether we receive green eye color or glow. I never liked it.

I do think classes should have their own customizations, though. Warlocks should have Void and Fel eye glow, Mages should have Arcane eye glow, etc.

And as you say, all elves should have eye color independent from their eye glow. Agreed. :+1:t3:

No, that would be you guys.

Itā€™s not a claim. Itā€™s a fact.

You see them mutating in the scenario. That is Blizzardā€™s lore.

Umbric says theyā€™ve changed ( Magister Umbric says: Alleriaā€¦ ā€¦ My people are free, but we have beenā€¦ changed. And the voicesā€¦)

Saying someoneā€™s a flavor of something doesnā€™t mean they are that something, specially when you see that group on the verge of turning into beings of Void smoke.

And yes, you and your buddies thrive on headcanon considering you are assigning a background to the wayfarers that is not there just because they happen to be in Telogrus.

Ohh I forgot to comment on this

Personally Iā€™m not a fan of monstruous customizations. Weā€™ve been shown in game that the Void can be sleek and elegant, and thatā€™s what Iā€™d like to focus on mainly.

There are however many Void Elf fans who look forward to customizations such as that one!

Iā€™m not sure Blizzard would spend time actually editing the model to give us that kind of customizations, but who knows, everything is possible!

Yes, although I think the irises would be hard to see, would be nice to see a separate toggle.

I would also accept if they gave them green eyes such as these

Just remove the eyeballs and put those eyes maybe like 6 or 7 each side! It could harken to the faceless.

I found some art for faceless sort of look, just remove the whole face and put eyes.

Of course not, because your precious bland elves would be tarnished and be made interesting.

But letā€™s look at what happens when fel and void actually mix, shall we?:
