I agree, the only way I see to use it is if the enemy team is out of stuns and you have concentration or ascension ready, or if they are also out of interrupts. So for a talent that needs another talent when miracle and fade talents are mandatory makes it not that great. It would be nice if it was just a cooldown that made your spells immune to mortal strike affects for a short period; would make it a counter pick into fury and assassin next patch.
You could use it during a really nice cross CC maybe, to replace Heal as a mana efficient pick, but cardinal mending is still a pretty mana efficient pick its self, and is instant.
MAY be worth picking in 2v2 vs another dps/heal comp when you know you’ll have 3 seconds to safely cast, especially when mana efficiency is important for heal mirrors in 2v2. Cardinal still less risky though.
Imagine pretending TBC was ever any good. It’s 100% “retro” (awkward) zoomers playing TBC.
Time will tell, but I feel Shadowlands launch will have seen more popularity than TBC.
I still want Classic+, and it’s a joke they’re just recycling the expansions instead. Most Classic traditionalists were so turned off by the world buff shenanigans and race-race-race mentality for Classic launch, I’d be surprised if half of them stuck around for the broken contraction of Outlands.
The PvP changes they’ve made so far are considered to be “radical”. They’d still need to do a few more here and there, but the main issue I’m seeing so far are making some tweaks to soulbinds and a few covenants. All I’m saying is that it’ll take some time before some ppl realize TBC PvP might not be what they anticipated it to be and there’s a good chance we start seeing more activity than usual on retail especially once 9.1 is out.
I am literally the farthest thing from a zoomer and I am thoroughly excited about TBC. Vanilla was like a crude sculpture, TBC is the refined edition, and WOTLK is where they polished it into a finished wonder… Current retail is like that statue was eroded in water for years; it’s still there but damaged and sad by comparison.
