Even if you don’t “fill” the vault, it’s still not that bad. If you just unlock the second vault slot in any content, that is 2 sockets every 3 weeks if you pick the currency option. I do agree it was a financial hit to JCs, which I have one of for my own use. I use to make some good money off gems and flasks 
: /. They really should add another way to get sockets besides this. Especially for people who don’t like doing vault stuff.
The problem with last season is they tied it to a currency that was only in korthia. That was horrible. They need to tie it with a universal currency like cosmic flux.
Release the creation catalyst like 2 weeks sooner please.

Hey glad to see you guys finally realize your weekly vault was flawed. I’m happy to see these tokens actually being worth grabbing.
Hopefully you continue to make positive changes like this in the future, it’s not perfect but hey we will take what we can get from you guys.
I feel like either someone at Blizzard didn’t do the math, or they did do the math and they’re just cruel to non-raiders, because the odds of getting a 2-pc bonus before Creation Catalyst opens on the 8th week of the patch is laughably small.
Shoot, doing three characters with all three M+ slots for two weeks in a row, the math says you’ve only got a 50/50 shot of getting any piece tier on any of your characters (and I guess I lost that coin flip). It’s actually crazy.
This is definitely a situation where you just chill out and fill Vault while waiting for the season to start “for real” weeks from now.
Two guys I play keys with got banned at the start of the season and it isn’t even a big punishment for them because you’re not even missing out on that much right now. No double leggo, astronomically low drop rates for tier, no tier upgrades, etc.

No tier on my main. Got a 252 tier helm on my warrior though. Wasn’t even hype.

Awesome change to The Great Vault system! Whomever replaced the one dude who recently left, is steering the loot system from the vault in the right direction lol.
This feels like an odd reward to put on here. Especially at 1 token per 1 renown. Feels like there are much better uses for the currency than this. This feels like a band-aid for a different problem (change renown catch up token from 40-60 - then the ZM campaign + dailies/weekly/etc. can fill out the remaining 20). Or maybe bump up the amount of renown 1 token for 5 renown or something like that?
This I really like - and realistically seems like what most folks will use.

i LOL when i saw the 1 renown.
but i CAPSed all over Trade at the sight of the sockets. socket addition is 100% the best thing added aside from the rep tokens, which could save you if you missed a day or so of dailies.
Is this listed in our inventory as a currency?
Really misleading, thought we were just going to earn tokens via filling up vault, didn’t know we have to pick them too, really troll move. You should earn some and then get extra by picking, not just be screwed out of loot because you want sockets too.
this is a nice change though i think just getting rewards from the vault should give us one or two tokens per week to use. especially with the item for sockets we’d have to give up a week’s worth of loot just to get one

I don’t think you read my post correctly. if Blizzard had a good gearing system, at the beginning of a patch, they should not have to “add” junk to a vendor for people to get when the RNG is so bad that there isn’t a good piece of gear to choose from in the vault. The fact that they have demonstrates that 1) their gearing system is a failure and 2) they are spending too much time doing something else (or can’t be bothered fixing the issue.

Yes, I am saying this. The fact that it is implemented less than a month after they implemented Season 3 means their gearing system is a failure. 
No one should have to pick up tokens at this point.

Don’t worry about people poopooing vault because they don’t get bis/wpn every week. SL vault is working well.
Well, I missed the update. Now I’m just disappointed again.
Great changes however I hope we get no rng loot box next expansion and just more gear elsewhere that we can work toward.
But brain make happy chemical when I get weapon from box.
