Please help! It have been nearly a month of getting the wrong gear in my Great Vault.
For 2 weeks ago vault, I had completed five tier 8 delves, 5 Mythic +, and Heroic Manaforge Omega Raid. The only thing in my Vault was a “Raid Finder” item. This last weeks Vault, I had done two Mythic +, 5 TimeWalking dungeons, and Heroic Manaforge Omega Raid. I got a single “Raid Finder” item generated again in my vault!
I put in a ticket under “Not Listed Here” as I wasn’t sure where to go for such a thing. I didn’t get response for a very long time, only to have the guy that responded only ask for my character name even though that was at the top of the ticket I submitted!!! I sent my character name and unfortunately by the time that support guy got back to me, tuesday had come and I left my Vault untouched, thinking I could “Prove” that only one low level item was in there, but now I really was stuck with that item again as my vault can’t generate new stuff with the old still having been in there.
The second guy to respond was only slightly helpful as he told me to come here as they are unable to help with such things. Why couldn’t that first “support” guy have said that? I am very frustrated and really feel like I’m just getting passed from one place to the next, with no hope of getting any help! I get this stuff takes time, but good Lord.
Is there any chance these could be old vaults - can you generate a new one immediately after you claimed one of the old ones? Because the Vault saves weeks you did but didn’t check or claim.
Please understand that if there was an issue with the Great Vault, I’m afraid there isn’t anything that a Game Master would be able to do for you, Zahailu. Outside of recommending that you put in a Bug Report so that our QA team can look into it. They cannot generate loot that you should have received.
With that said, it is rare that there is actually an issue. In most cases, as Anzath mentioned, what you are seeing is a reward from a previous week that you simply never collected. The Great Vault doesn’t clear out weekly, it holds into previous rewards. You don’t be able to generate your most recent rewards until you select that and any subsequent rewards.
From what I can see if the logs, you appear to have a reward available from mid-September. Try clearing out the available reward so that the Vault can generate your reward from the next qualifying week.
I understand that there isn’t anything the game masters could do, but if they had read my tickets thoroughly, they might have been able to tell me what you told me, or at least set me here sooner, as the first support guy didn’t seem to have even read my ticket.
Unfortunately, everywhere I looked online first before sending a ticket said that if you didn’t take the item out of your vault when the next week rolls over, you will still have that same item(s) and lose out on what you worked for that week. Thus it never occurred to me to check my vault again, after having taken the item there. And I really started to panic when I genuinely hadn’t taken an item out because now I knew, at least that time, it was my doing, even though the item (to my knowledge at the time) was still wrong. I believed you could only interact with your vault once a week.
Thank you very much for your help. I now know that vaults “stack up” and that when you miss taking something, it is actually still there.
There’s some very old information floating around out there. The old system, before the Great Vault, the chest would reset if you didn’t remove the item before the next week. With the Great Vault the devs made it so that items weren’t lost. There used to be a notice that told you the rewards you were viewing were from a previous week but I think something bugged out with that.
