today i went to pick up my rewards from the vault after a hard week of lots of mythic +
welp i had 6 items and i did selected my items they showed up with the check marks and when i claimed my reward it just gave me stygia and the mythic + key.
any way to recover my loot ? really appreciate the help! its terrible!
Had you claimed all previous weeks’ rewards? Older rewards are not replaced, they are held until claimed. You must claim any older rewards to see current ones.
it was my first vault after a break of the game i quit at the end of BFA returned like a week ago was rushing some keys to boost my ilvl and welp ended up getting stygia instead of my gear 
6 pieces total… and one or two of them 225
You can choose ONE reward from the vault from all that it shows you as available rewards.
If you do not wish to take one of the gear rewards, you can opt for the currency instead.
i see! but still what its odd its that welp the vault was showing indeed that i had the gear selected but. since you are telling me , we can only choose one out of them all. i ended up getting just the currency!
The checkmarks just indicate the unlocked vault slots.
Possibly simplifying the indicators would be a good suggestion, you basically have two competing positive indicators (highlight & checkmark) and it may not be clear at first glance the narrative.
