Graveyard camping

They should seriously do something about gy camping. Make a buffer zone that if you enter, it kicks you out of the bg.

Hey that’s my line.

There are a few options

  • Leave the BG
  • Don’t rez

Not sure if your idea would help, you will just get camped in another part of the map

Or they could make all graveyards like the ones in tol barad, where players who are rezzing are immune to attacks in the graveyard but can attack enemy players in them.

There something you can do make sure you have gear so you don’t get clapped.

In other words, only mythic raiders should do PvP, and everybody else should just quit the game. Good plan you have there.

  1. Body rez
  2. Use your CC to CC your way out.
  3. Goblin Glider Glide out.
  4. Goblin Glider Glide + Lightfoot potion your way out.

I am rarely graveyard camped. I have no problems getting out

I’m sure the level 30 who started the thread will be able to power his way out past half a dozen campers.

Then we’re on the same page! He can totally do it.

This!

Was in a WSG being down 0-1 and being GY camped by Alliance. They were a pug, though, not premade. I managed to convince a few people to delay ressing and eventually didn’t notice us res off to the side, near the edge and run by the ride side of the hut.

We managed to cap the flag and since last cap wins get a surprise victory. It was hilarious. Bottom line is, don’t give up!

Sometimes you just have to suck it up and take it, the other team is just better than you.

But if you get good, then you get to do the gy camping yourself. And trust me, as an avid gy camper there’s nothing better

It was kind of boring tbh, I joined a bg with Jdro and after his 80th kill they just didn’t even move out of the gy.

I guess when you know you have zero chance against him then you give up.

It is a good plan. Getting stomped is part of the game and trying to remove that is like always keeping up the safety bumpers while bowling and sometimes you need to get some gutter balls to get better. In reality you need to come to grips with the fact you are going to face unwinnable battles and that is okay. It’s how you shake them off to formulate a way to win the war. It builds character and if you disagree you are wrong. It’s how we lose that defines us that allows us to eventually win.

I was playing with my toes that game too. Some people are helpless.

I would abuse the hell out of that lol. have all the healers stay in bubble and heal fc

I kind of like the idea of multiple graveyards but i doubt the oldschool maps could support it. It’s rare you’re camped in arathi for example compared to say, wsg.

Then again, getting camped in twin peaks is common and it has multiple gy’s so idk.

If your group has no gear then…

Fighting better geared teams teaches solid skills. But by the time the entire team is being camped at the gy its just stupid. Adding a mechanic that protects those rezzing in the gy is a simple and easy fix. If ppl really are concerned that we need to foster new PVPers you can start by not completely ruining the experience for them.

Random BGs should be sorted by ilvl and rating to create a more balanced experience. They should include a Mercenary option right in the PvP window when they need more people to help the other faction and offer better loot for doing so.

You should be able to gear for PVP by PVPing. Nerf it in PVE to appease raiders.

You should also be able to solo queue for RBG to make it easier to form teams and make it easier for casual players to get into it. It should be sorted by gear and rating also.

The mechanic is cancelling the rez timer and not feeding the opposition kills. If there is no one to kill, they can’t farm you. Keeping an enemy team in the graveyard is a perfectly solid game strategy.

I don’t have a problem with creating an even playing field but creating ilvl brackets is a recipe for disaster, as is adding any type of rating to casual play. Queues are already long enough as it is, you want to make them longer?

Your understanding of the mercenary system is wrong. It is not a system designed to “help the other faction”, it is a system designed to provide players experiencing long queue times a way to get shorter queue times. The incentive and reward is you can play x2 the games in the same time.

Thus far your only good suggestion.
