Grats to everyone on their Tyrael's Charger. However

Sorry Tovi, but the wording on this is specifically vague so that it could mean “this promotion is a limited time offer” but that doesn’t say there wont be other promotions/ways to get it in the future.

GG, you spent money on something and think it gives you prestige for having it, sorry about your luck. I hope any mount in the TCG, collectors’ bundles, and shop comes to the Battle Pass, and this is coming from someone who got the spectral tiger and fel drake from the tcg.

where did they say “one time”

This is the problem with getting things just because they’re rare instead of getting it because you personally like it. Also, this is based on the assumption that rare = valuable in this game, which just isn’t true… given that you can’t sell it.

Because if there is less of something it makes it more valuable or unique.

The things that should be special should be the things that are actually impressive to get though stuff like the mage tower, which can be updated to keep it a challenge that we never outgear.

“I was there” trophies shouldn’t really have been special in the first place.

Stop it and get some help.

OR people can like it because they personally like it and it’s rare.

Rare is valuable. Value doesn’t need to always mean money.

You’re the one talking to me, Leothalis.

How do you define it?

Theres a reason rolex watches cost thousands of dollars, and it’s not about quality (while they are really nice watches, they are still incredibly overpriced). It’s artificial scarcity. Same with diamonds, things are only nice to have because less people have them.

Yes, and I’m also the one who thinks the mentality of ‘if less have it, it’s more valuable to me’ is really

REALLY
stupid.

I disagree with this.

On the Mage Tower though, if I had even an inkling that Blizzard was going to change their mind and allow you to xmog regardless of spec, I’d have gone for more appearances, lol.

Diamonds cheese me off because you can get like
lab grown ones or gems that look almost identical to diamonds.

But people STILL wanna shell out too much on a dumb rock.

Stop being trash and get star sapphires instead. :dracthyr_a1:

When the McRib or any other limited time only item becomes available, it means just that, for a limited time, not never again.

I think in the minds of the customers, limited time is a trick company marketing teams use to trick their customers into believing that whatever they are buying will only be available during that promotion. This is why people get angry about it. It is kind of a underhanded method to manipulate people by tapping into their psyche.

Someone mentioned McD’s. McRib has had a farewell tour for many years now and people still believe it is not going to be back next year. This is an example of companies tapping into the psyche of their customers.

You’re missing the point. It’s not about the look, its about having something others don’t have. You are signaling to other people that you have money, in WoW it’s more akin to signaling that you have played this game a long time, and have invested a lot of time into it. It’s a social game, Achievements and Time limited events, pets, achievements, and mounts should be protected.

Okay. Well, you’re wrong.

So how is a constantly available in the shop mount fit in that definition?

Explain how. c:
