All kidding aside, the promotions are always generally “Get X if you buy Y.” It’s generally an incentive to buy something or do something else, which has a cash equivalent. Buying X directly off the store really isn’t that different than how it was originally acquired.
I suppose it could be upsetting if the item is being sold for dramatically less than the cash equivalent value it was before, but even then things go on sale all of the time.

This isn’t about price. The website specifically said “limited time only” and they did that to get people to participate in their annual pass.

If you read down below where it mentions the charger mount it clearly states Offers available through January 2, 2023.
Meaning get it now or else out of luck again it isn’t staying.

Well to be fair you probably shouldn’t have gotten the charger if the only reason you wanted it was because it was limited.
Like, that’s how you should treat ANY company telling you that something is a limited time offer. Assume it’s not, and if that makes you not want it then there’s a good chance you didn’t really want the thing in the first place and were being affected by FOMO.
and if you do still want it, go nuts.
