May very likely be the case, as I already said I’ve never had one and likely never will. I was just trying (and failing badly) to make a joke

i never did the promotion for it but for those that did, 180$ is quite a bit for a mount even though technically they did have gameplay time too
I’m not sure how we’re losing out. We’ve had it for a decade. It was free for a limited time. Now people have to pay for it a decade later.

It’s losing its exclusivity which is a fundamental aspect of the value to limited edition items.

The mount never had that value since the package included a lot more than just the mount.
The sub time you got out of it alone was worth $180, and another $60 of value because you got Diablo 3.

Okay. We just had a bunch of other stuff lose that too. This tine, people have to pay for it instead of getting it free.
It’s not a challenge mode, so I don’t personally see the problem.

Yeah sorry i never did it before, forgot that it gave you the game time as well and didn’t know about D3 so guess that’s a good thing but still sucks they’re bringing it back after 10 years though but it is what it is
Yeah that’s how those ads word it “For a limited time” so technically its really a seasonal promotion since they don’t use that “Only” word.
If folks feel Blizzard reneged on a contract, please feel free to go down to your local courthouse and file something.
