How was the system skewed against them? I already proved the H/A ratio is fairly even. And there’s probably plenty of Horde that don’t feel a 10% bonus is worth their time as well.
But at the same time, there’s plenty of people (myself included) that would turn on WM without a bonus at all.
Starting to feel like this is just trolling at this point.
It’s not trolling to have a difference of opinion.
And if it wasn’t skewed against them, they wouldn’t have opted-out. The forums were alive with stories about the Horde running around in gank squads, camping questgivers and picking off lone Alliance. So more people opted out because it wasn’t a productive use of time.
There’s really no point in getting angry at Alliance players for choosing to use their time differently than you.

I’m not angry, just trying to prove a point.
Point being: The only people that skewed it against the Alliance were the Alliance themselves for not turning it on, or turning it off when they died. If they would have actually fought back, all the Horde that were in it for the free bonus without risk wouldn’t have ever turned it on and it would have remained even.
You play Horde but don’t want to pvp and hear that there’s no Alliance anywhere in warmode, of course you’ll turn it on for a free 10% bonus to AP. This will continue to skew it more to one side’s favor.
That depends completely on your server and shard. Some severs I play on horde dominate. Some alliance own. Some are split.
I get your point, I just disagree with it.
The Alliance participated, found the system broken, opted out. Blizzard wanted them to play, so they gave them a better buff. If you want a better buff, engage in some pro-consumerist tactics and boycott it.

So adding an unfair advantage wasn’t the right solution. Fixing sharding would have made it work. The same thing happened pre 8.1 as well, but people complained until the alliance got more rewards.
Oh trust me, I’m already boycotting it for the lag.
No matter how you look at it, getting 25ms but having the game play like you’re at 3000 isn’t fun for anyone
I am in a guild mostly filled with young moms talking about their infants and diapers. Their life is so random and busy so they don’t do anything too heavy, but what they do is they try to get together once a week for world PvP and relieve their stress of child rearing.
It’s probably one of those, so please understand and have patience for those young moms.

True, true.
I agree that the system is broken. I just think there’s nothing to be gained by getting angry at the Alliance instead of Blizzard.

The question has been answered. Many times. Horde used the two big advantages they had to farm alliance until alliance got tired and turned it off

Oh no, I’m totally with you there. This is largely Blizzards fault for their god-awful sharding technology to begin with.
That doesn’t change the other advantages the horde have. Like overall numbers and better skilled players.
Don’t believe me? Most the top PvE guilds are all horde. This gives horde an advantage.
Horde has an advantage when it comes on the PvP end and 70% of all characters with high end PvP or PvE progression are all horde side.
Combine this with 5.5 people being horde to alliance’s 4.5 out of every 10 and it gives huge advantages to horde.
That’s the pettiest argument ever. “Horde has better players, so alliance should have unfair in-game advantages to make up for that.”
Everyone’s paying $15/mo to play. It’s not right to make the game unfair for one side. This kind of stuff belongs in f2p trash games.

I’m not saying that. You asked why alliance players left. I have given you the answers why
Horde used their numerical and skill advantage to corpse camp alliance.
Alliance got tired of wasting time and being camped.
Alliance left war mode.
You wanted answers and you got them.
Oh and I find it funny how You want to call tg at argument petty.
When horde had the short end of the stick with racials they cried endlessly.
As a good example look at the emfh racial alliance used to have.
Funny how it’s only petty when your the one with the advantage.
The Only reason horde has the advantage they have is because racials. So you want to talk about sides having an advantage, go ahead and balance war mode buffs out. Right after you balance racials out and get all those horde who were originally alliance to go back to alliance.

This is why cloud servers are such crap. Yeah they save blizzard money but when your tech is so bad that you have to seperate people in an mmo…

Because racials are an actual thing to be upset about. When every class that can be played as a human because they have 3 trinket slots in PvP happens and everyone x-fers alliance to PvP, that’s a problem. If you don’t see that you’re blind.
You were fine with everyone transferring to Horde for the racials. Why is it only bad if it happens to the Alliance?

That’s my question. He’s screaming about unfair but ignores all the advantages his faction has.

Where have I said I’m okay with anyone transferring to the horde, ever? I strictly think that all alliance x-fers to the horde should be forced to go back. An extreme opinion but I honestly think your account should be locked to your faction. I’ve been horde since vanilla.
Stop making up BS, please.
Also, I’ve said multiple times that I think all racials should be taken out of the game or at least in raiding and rated PvP.
He relies very heavily on double standards wherein the Horde’s advantages are somehow “earned” but the Alliance’s aren’t.
