Grats alliance players!

Yes? I’ve heard plenty say it. Why is it not safe to assume a majority does this?

If this were another topic and someone used this forum as a source for a belief/assumption…you’d poo poo all over it and you know it.

True, I would. But it does make sense why a majority would only be there for that level of gear, if they never had intention of using that feature otherwise.

And I’ve heard plenty say their pug faces premades over and over and horde have more healers. I guess that’s all the proof we need?

Alliance are outnumbered in every other aspect of pvp except warmode where they’re manipulating balance by turning it on and off? I’ll believe that when someone with access to actual data says it.

Why do people have such a hard time believing that some Alliance who normally wouldn’t turn WM on, did for a 400 ilvl piece? Would be the same if tables were reversed.

I’m not denying that. What I have a hard accepting is the claim that alliance have had the 30% buff for this long because they’re turning warmode off (in numbers large enough to skew balance) after doing the quest when I’ve seen nothing that supports that.

I did say they should raise that to 50 or 60% rather than add gear. 30% wasn’t enough to get people in warmode and the 370 gear wasn’t added until December. If they increased the buff and (maybe) threw in a 385 piece of gear right now, it could be enough for more Alliance to keep WM on.

If they did turn it on in droves then turn it off, ironically it still wasn’t enough alliance to tip the population balance when everyone was doing the quest.

Pretty sure they judge at the end of the week, how many have WM turned on, to determine who (if anyone) gets the buff.

Didn’t they say it was retroactive in a QnA?

No clue, didn’t hear that one.

I’m curious about how many PVPers care about honor/honor level. As someone who practically only plays WOW for PVP, I know I don’t. I’d just like to be able be as effective as possible in PVP and on equal footing with other players, and to the best of my knowledge, honor doesn’t help with that. Ironically, without a gear incentive for turning on Warmode, even I, a practically only-PVPer, is disincentivized to turn on Warmode because of the “overwhelming odds” that Alliance typically faces in WPVP, since turning on Warmode makes getting/having one of the only three non-skill things that matter in PVP (gear, azerite level, class), disproportionately harder to get.

? You can easily get all of those without warmode on. The only thing warmode helps with would be azerite level but that comes quick with random BGs.

  • Exactly.
