They may change it back in the future. I predict Alliance Warmode participation will be less with the quest only offering 385 instead of 400.

Like I said, 2-3 months down the road is very different. That’s what they did with the 370 gear, it didn’t come until December.

I remember my ilevel before raids released, and what a 370 piece meant. It’s the exact same thing.

Except you know it most likely won’t. Why should Horde have to turn off WM when Alliance can just keep it on like they have?

I don’t know, the level of complaining and threats of turning warmode off by horde is pretty common on the warmode forum these days.

A whole lot of we can dish it out but we can’t take it going on.

Someone’s always gonna be outnumbered to varying degrees. What do I deserve when there’s a raid group at every flight path? Nothing, I bet you’ll say. And I’d agree with you. Just farting around in the game world shouldn’t rain down raid gear.

Rewards should be tied to progressing in meaningful content.

Because you’re playing the dominant faction. I’d rather Blizzard not ignore the imbalance as more and more swap to fotm because of it.

And I’ll have you know that killing 25 horde is meaningful content.

Well how do you fix it without breaking things or destroying meaningful progression? Obviously “bribes” so to speak, something to get people to dip out of their comfort zone. But it can’t be too crazy. But it has to be significant enough.

So then we need the WF bonus gear gone as well and need to be out raged that you guys got raid equive gear from that before alliance when that was current tier. Ya know since WFs aren’t meaningful in anyway and what not.

this is completely different then when the alliance cried about horde getting the first cycle for warfronts in that the horde will NEVER have this free 400 ilvl handout

Horde outnumbered alliance for months. Call it compensation for getting our butts kicked for months to benefit our 10% while horde got theirs for basically free.

I’m not a game dev. I don’t know what motivates people to jump on the bandwagon. I’m just glad Blizzard isn’t ignoring faction balance even if their solution isn’t ideal. I haven’t seen any suggestions from those who take issue to the gear reward. What would it take for them to swap to alliance?

why should alliance be rewarded for safe space behavior? its time to start blaming yourselves for getting outnumbered. do you really want to be the faction that has a permanent gear advantage as far as pvp goes? it should come as no surprise that the alliance population is PLUMMETING with this loser lazy(literally lfr like) mentality

That doesn’t get players to turn on warmode nor does it address faction imbalance. Already explained you can’t shame people into it.

What’s your suggestion? Suck it up, buttercup? While more people swap to horde for a free ride? If you want the freeloaders, fine by me. Ignore the imbalance and let them swap to horde.

Who cares about ilvl 400 item… It’s like when alliance were crying about the 340 stuff from warfronts. Literally irrelevant issues. The gear will be obsolete in less than a month if you do content.

The issue with the reward is it’s encouraging people to turn on wm that have no interest in actual wpvp. It’s just a bunch of people who afk in giant raids and farm fps.

I have no idea how you address this though sadly. I am out of ideas on this one wtb wod wpvp please. Lol
