I was very pessimistic about the whole ordeal when I first heard about it. I just thought of all the time it took to complete anything and it was a full-time job. The thought of flying from Undercity to BRM and having to wait for slackers to help summon (I was a Lock). A bunch of other things that I guess I have subdued and forgot. I’m happy that I was one of the 230k that signed that petition because I wanted other players to experience the game that turned me into a PC gamer.
Then after the announcement I got a phone call from my friends that got me into the game all excited about going back again. I haven’t really spoken to them in years because of life and one has a teenage son that wants to try the game. After the conversation hype started to fill up and now I’m dreading the repercussions it will have. A toggle option allows for subjective experience. What difference should it make to a #nochanges purist if another player wants to see updated graphics?
Dude, my old computer is long since dead. There’s really no going back to the old graphics for most of us.
I signed that petition and was around in vanilla. I’m fully on board for modern graphics and layering.

I would recommend you to read your own post outloud before sending it so you can hear how dumb it is.
The character models are leaps and bounds better then the horrible new ones lol.
Since they chopped out some features to make it look faithful to vanilla, they should cut the graphics down to how they were in vanilla.
Game still has Ultra settings in it, but there is a classic option.
