I went ahead and upgraded this year as well. It was time.

I’m no expert on this and so won’t really comment on quality vs price but I’m excited for you and hope it’s a reliable machine!

wow alone takes up 1/3 of your storage, you definitely want more than 512, at least get an HDD.

If I had been in the market for a new PC, I’d have gone with the one they had at Walmart on black Friday.

It was an “iBUYPOWER Slate 6 Mesh Gaming Desktop Liquid Cooled Intel Core i5-13600KF NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 8GB 16GB DDR5 1TB NVMe SSD Black (2024)”

For $699. That was a pretty insane deal.

iBUYPOWER seems to have some decent deals pretty regularly as far as pre-builts go. I’ve had luck with them and CyberPower in the past.

I certainly don’t. It’s presumably a computer you’ll use to play some WoW. Seems perfectly fine to talk about it in GD. You aren’t asking for advice on purchasing a PC just talking about the rig you are going to be using.

Would have been my suggestion as well, more storage. Looks like you’ve got that covered. Nice new rig! shouldn’t need to upgrade for a quite a while. Grats! Nothing like that new computer smell.

is just awful. psu on that things needs to be upgraded immediately.
500w psu especially for a 4060 need at least 750w.

$1000 for the very definition of mid-at-best. Still, I suppose that’s not bad in today’s market.
