Got this on cyber Monday

The power supply seems a little low. I prefer 1000w but I know 1000w can be overkill but 500w to me isn’t the best.

Also, that 512 NVMe is not a lot at all especially not having another one. I would recommend 2. I use 1 for purely my OS etc. and then my other NVMe is 4gigs which I use for my games and all that other stuff.

But the rest is decent for that price I would say.

You got ripped off…

yeah it’s risky to assume that a name for a thing gives 100% of the possible information about that thing.

for example, an “off road vehicle” can’t generally be driven underwater even if there’s no road under that water.

Just make sure you delete whatever bloatware the ‘security program’ is unless it’s talking about windows defender. Antivirus software operates like malware and will seriously bog your PC

The specs say it does have a second NVME slot for storage. Can easily toss in a 2 TB SSD to store games.

Enjoy.

I got my new one coming in around the 10th.

H7flow chasis
B650 Aorus elite- No planning on doing any OC, so anything higher than a basic MB is kinda pointless
RTX 4080 Super 16GB
R7 9800X3d
64GB DDR5 6000
1000 W MSI gold standard PSU
2TB WD nVmE

Room for upgrades if i want to swap out later down the road. But i prolly wont for a seriously long time.

The one i have now will be a back up, since it’s gonna be 3 years old soon, and i’m pushing the limit of what i can do @ 1440p. With the new rig, i won’t have any problem.

I think you’d be better off not trying to do that here tbh.

I was just trying to be someone helpful I just need a bite my tongue in the future

That sure isn’t bad for a $1k build.

I’m probably going to invest in a new handheld PC. I went through a pretty significant medical procedure recently and still have to rest often, which means I can’t just stay at the desktop. The one I have now does pretty solid work for the games I play but it’s RAM is really lacking.

No one is helpful in GD. We bandy between barely masked contempt and outright seething hatred.

Not here, but honestly if that was an upgrade of your old system, prolly not worth much TBH in the used market.

Better off hooking it up to your T.V if you wanna play some steam games/PC pass while on the couch. What I usually do with my older rig.

Iv seen people on here use the 1660 cards, i have an 2080 RTX with 8th gen i7 on my old pc

Crazy, I just bought a Cyberpower with pretty much the same specs. Ended up being around $1100 after taxes etc. Free shipping though which helped. Replacing an HP Omen that is close to 5 years old now.

I don’t think he’s threatening anyone though.

Mine is 6 years old, its still not too bad but the CPU is overheating cuz i put alot of game time on it

Likely just needs to be cleaned with a new heatsink/fan installed and overheating will disappear. 6 years is starting to get long in the tooth however.

i’m running a 1660 still. wow is basically all i play and it’s fine for that.
