The power supply seems a little low. I prefer 1000w but I know 1000w can be overkill but 500w to me isn’t the best.
Also, that 512 NVMe is not a lot at all especially not having another one. I would recommend 2. I use 1 for purely my OS etc. and then my other NVMe is 4gigs which I use for my games and all that other stuff.
But the rest is decent for that price I would say.
Just make sure you delete whatever bloatware the ‘security program’ is unless it’s talking about windows defender. Antivirus software operates like malware and will seriously bog your PC
H7flow chasis
B650 Aorus elite- No planning on doing any OC, so anything higher than a basic MB is kinda pointless
RTX 4080 Super 16GB

1000 W MSI gold standard PSU

Room for upgrades if i want to swap out later down the road. But i prolly wont for a seriously long time.
The one i have now will be a back up, since it’s gonna be 3 years old soon, and i’m pushing the limit of what i can do @ 1440p. With the new rig, i won’t have any problem.
I’m probably going to invest in a new handheld PC. I went through a pretty significant medical procedure recently and still have to rest often, which means I can’t just stay at the desktop. The one I have now does pretty solid work for the games I play but it’s RAM is really lacking.
Crazy, I just bought a Cyberpower with pretty much the same specs. Ended up being around $1100 after taxes etc. Free shipping though which helped. Replacing an HP Omen that is close to 5 years old now.
Likely just needs to be cleaned with a new heatsink/fan installed and overheating will disappear. 6 years is starting to get long in the tooth however.
