Got the exact same automated reply THREE TIMES on my ticket! I need help

I don’t know what else to do to get help with this issue. I have two tickets open that I need GM help with and I keep getting the EXACT same automated response telling me to try item recovery. I did. It doesn’t help. I need a GM. Both tickets are over a week old now. Can I please get some assistance?

The tickets I submitted with details are US85769603 and US85733576. I am missing 14 items total due to glitches. One is a quest pet that should be available from stables but is not. The rest are Darkmoon Faire cards that were lost due to a bug that eats the entire stack of cards rather than just one when you go to make a deck.

  1. Are you just opening new tickets each time, or are you hitting the button to resubmit the same ticket “I still need help”? If you’re creating new each time, it’s not getting the chance to go into a higher queue by reopening/resubmitting that original one.

  2. Ticket times are unfortunately off the chains right now. Ticket turnaround is at around 5-7 days right now. There is no way to bypass that. The staff hates that as much as the players do that things are taking so long right now, but tickets are answered in the order that they are received. There are no GMs here on this forum, you will have to wait on your ticket.

  1. Well I didn’t know about both issues at the same time. One ticket was opened the day before the other. It’s really two different issues. So nah not doing that, I know it wouldn’t help.
  2. I’m not trying to bypass it at all, I don’t think you understood the issue from my original post. The wait is fine, WotLK prepatch just came out I get that they are completely swamped right now. The problem is that my ticket got an auto reply, I reopened it saying that I still needed help, and four days later the ticket was given the exact same auto reply.

For all I know in four more days, I’m going to get another auto reply with the same wording again.

It looks like you opened up three different tickets all before any one of them were answered, Karsha. During periods when we have a high volume of tickets, usually most quest and item tickets receive an automatic reply with self-help options and links.

Normally, after that first response you’d reopen your ticket and that would go to a Game Master for review. You received three of the same responses because you had three tickets in at the same time.

It does appear that you reopened the other tickets, so those should go through normally. You might close out the extra though, that shouldn’t be needed.

Yeah the one I opened from today was due to the issue above. I didn’t know how else to get around the automatic replies. I will go close that one and the one for the chicken.

But no, they were ‘answered’ and closed with automatic replies. Twice with the same reply on the same ticket. This is not a complaint about wait times at all. I just want my ticket to be flagged for review by a person.

I’d keep US85769603 and US85733576 open.

I did take a look at your tickets and had a quick question. For US85733576 you are asking about already completing the quest Cluck!, and not having the pet. However, you submit the ticket on your level 70 Human Warrior, who currently has the quest as active in their quest log.

I ask, because if you are missing the pet on a character that already completed the quest, I want to make sure that character is noted in the ticket. Otherwise the Game Master will just look at your Warrior and say… you have the quest. :slight_smile:

Unless I’m misunderstanding the situation entirely.

lol good point! No you are understanding it correctly. Cluck is a repeatable quest, but you only get the pet reward the first time. I completed it back in 2019 when Classic launched. Because it’s repeatable it can be shared and some silly goose shared it with me in a BG last night. I will go delete it, I can definitely understand how that would cause confusion.

Edit to add: I did try doing CLUCK! again before putting in that ticket. I completed the quest but was not offered the pet. Checked the stables after, still no luck.

Huh. I never knew that. To be fair, I did it the once to get the pet for my collection and never did it again. Alright, thanks for the clarification!

Can i get some help on my ticket. Got a automated reply that didnt help at all. Also there was no option that was even close to matching my issue. You guys really need to offer more options or just let us describe our issue and make it easier to submit a ticket.

If you’re not able to make a ticket for your issue, then that means your issue isn’t something the GMs are able to help with - like trying to reset raid IDs or asking about drop rates for an item.

It’s also usually best to make a new thread, it’s always best if the thread being bumped is over a year old. Information that old is very likely to have changed some.

We don’t reset raid locks, Tflex. Just not something the devs have ever given permission to do.
