Got a hunter problem

Was bored of playing shadowlands and boosted a hunter for TBC classic but there is a problem. Maybe i need to redownload the client or something.

When i am out doing quests and trying to level i go to the area and tag about 10-15 mobs then start my rotation with pet but things don’t seem to work well and my pet does not take or hold aggro and we all die too quick. I do this all day on other content so i can only assume something is wrong in the TBC client.

To recap i am NOT a cloth wearing mage who is squishy I am very tanked BM hunter who should be able to pull down many mobs at once.

Are you a troll? You cannot pull that many mobs until you are well geared and leveled.

Right there is your problem.

If you were, 10-15 melee mobs would be a non-issue.

Hunters can just keep killing mobs despite being oom, but you’re not gonna compete with a frost mage on numbers in each pull.

Actually i rolled Orc but not sure what you mean? How can you level if you only pull one at a time??

If trolling, super bad job btw.

If not, this is a 15 year difference in games. How can you expect it to be the same. You quest. You kill what it asks you to kill.

Its the same game though right? I know the quests are different and raids and stuff is different but why is gameplay so hard and not the same? Makes no sense.

Plus i tried on retail game went to the outland areas even on lower level character and had no probs doing this. But same thing on TBC classic i get shot to pieces.

the game has changed a lot since BC was current content, so BC retail and BC classic is 2 different versions of the same game

Learn how to play, start at level 1. But I think what you really need is to improve your trolling.

As a hunter you gotta kill them 1-2 at a time. But I have to drink, you don’t…

By being really damn efficient at killing 1 mob at a time.

I can kill 4 at a time max but it’s a royal pain to do so.
