Cheers mate; see you tomorrow.
I’m relieved to know I’m not the only one. Because our Internet is weird were we live it was difficult get a decent speed. Now I have 50. Fixed the electrical wiring in our house, fixed the internet. Also had a brand new computer built from scratch.
And very few addons.
At first I had no lag, of course, then it built up a little, like normal. Then it started to really lag again on WoW - so I was thinking it was on my end again.
The copium is real. People don’t come back, there’s 9 million gone since wrath.
Can I have your gold, OP?
That sucks because that was my best xpac, next to legion. I had a less than potato computer back then.
I have a pretty good pc these days, but even before, I’ve never experienced any of these issues. Even the days I had to run at max low graphics just to get 20-25 fps.
Same issue here with the client stutter.
Can’t blame you for putting the game down. I quit for two weeks after hitting Keystone Hero. Logged in for the first time last night just to create an alt out of boredom.
Meh.
Game is dead for me. Solo Shuffle wintrading/leaving killed it for me. I don’t care if it is finally fixed. I feel robbed still and upset (was 1796, went 4 games with leavers and being up points, to going 3-3 for two rounds and losing massive points).
That sinking feeling.
Just saying, the whole, see you tomorrow, or see you next patch doesn’t hold water. It’s just something people say to cope with people leaving in droves.
Nothing I said was deep, just observational.
Booted 3 times while crafting. Cant use the WO without getting completely booted out. Bugged WQ months after launch. LIterally have to CNTL ALT DEL exit. Absolute ****show.
Ah and it comes out LOL.
You know, using my money to…provide a service to the meek is worth way more than actually playing the game. I can do what I want with my money. Maybe stop posting on a discussion about quitting the game if you can’t handle it, and everything is too deep for you to comprehend.
You gotta do what is best for you mate.
I just started playing WoW in November. I’ve been EQ and EQ2 this whole time. Anyways long boring story short - people come, people go. People post they are going. People reply with “can I have your stuff” or “Bye Felicia”.
It’s as old as MMOs.
Sadly, it doesn’t fix the issues either.
Be well. Life is too short.
It’s not trolling just because you don’t like it.
Insert the is this meme here for this entire discussion
So my game will randomly stutter, and also freeze up completely for 1-2 minutes, only had the issue since the pre-patch.
Good, the company needs a wake up call. They put minimum effort into their game because they know you will buy it. Once players stop paying for a crap product they might invest more resources into making the game better.
I don’t think they get a wakeup call. This game reeks of a bunch of executives making the gameplay decisions. I honestly only think our hope for a decent fair playing mmo is riot’s mmo in development. I don’t think there’s a path back to decency for Wow.
I have felt this way too. Seems silly to keep faith in this company. I haven’t been able to log back in after seeing my UI a wreck.
Just not worth the headache tonight.
Blizz gives us the dumbest explanations for it too
- Windows didn’t update
- My drivers didn’t update
- I’m running too many programs in the background (no, babe, I’m only running WoW)
lol, no it isn’t. Sadly.
Lol isn’t a counter argument. There’s a graveyard of mmo’s that couldn’t even take off, even in recent times. The remaining mmo’s that are profitable have been consistently losing support for many years. The industry tried to emulate these companies that did capitalize at the right time for games as a service. Call it what you want, but by reduced interest and player engagement, that’s dying to me. Key word dying, not dead.
