Good call on no LFD!

Turning the game into nothing but a bunch of people in queues was never the answer.

Keep the game true to its MMO roots!

Ion is right, retail has the experience LFDers are looking for.

I never really cared for the LFD tool. I would never use it even if it was in the game. I just que with friends whenever I want to do a dungeon, or with guild mates.

Agree entirely!

Tell me you don’t play classic w/o telling me you don’t play classic. How is LFG chat being spammed 24/7 somehow a positive over a WOTLK authentic feature that makes getting into and running dungeons easier for all?

Then you use it… That’s literally the best part of RDF, queue a premade group and knock out 3-4 dungeons it would take in the time to travel to and clear 1. Plus this only slows down the worst grind of badges and rep. Who wants to add 10m to each of 100 dungeon runs you need every phase when you could do 75 of them and save all that time? So we will have less people AFK on flight paths, who cares?

LK introduced the LFD tool. Without it, its NOT classic LK.

THIS! All LFD does is remove the need for addons to track LFG chat and streamlines the whole process. The whole “community” aspect barely exists in classic with the existence of the mega servers. If anything they should have made LFD server only if that was the driving reason.

I play with my guild. Imagine pugging tank/heals? LOL.

LFD has terrible affects on the game style.

It marginalizes it down to randomly queueing with 4 name plates (24 later on) where it doesn’t matter who you’re playing with, just as long as the content is brain dead easy enough to complete.

LFD makes this a single player game. No thanks!

Classic WotLK would not have LFD until the final phase anyway if you want authenticity. The same people whining about how they want their authentic Wrath feature in their classic Wrath are the same people who would be whining if they stuck to an authentic release schedule for the feature.

Now remove boosts! Paid and in-game dungeon boosts. They were never in wrath originally they need to not be in classic to preserve the community experience.

This is where RDF excels

Imaging having to make friends or actually communicating to do dungeons.

So you don’t run dungeons then? It’s open LFG chat, look at the constant spam, pick one of the 50 runs that need a tank, whisper them “i’ll tank” then don’t say another word till the runs over… Much community… such communication…

You know staring a conversation is the hardest part of a conversation, right? Blizzard has the data to support that, keep crying.

to be fair id be ok with that, if theyd said that.

In an MMO?! How dare you.

Not really. We all have epic mounts. The travel time to one dungeon isn’t the same as clearing three dungeons. And a lot of the dungeons have exits at the back so it’s really easy to reset and go again. Or in the case of heroic dungeons, each zone has a couple that are near each other.

Queuing with friends and guild mates means the dungeons will go twice as fast. Pugging in a dungeon finder means pugs can sit there and auto attack and the game won’t let you vote kick them for the first 15 minutes or whatever it is.

It really isn’t that big a deal. Join a social guild and make friends.

It’ll be added when its supposed to be added and thats how it should be.

Taking out the LFD tool is a huge win for the overall health of the game long term. As long as they keep Wrath pure or at least to it’s past roots, I’ll be very happy.
