Gonna start leaving premade bgs

dude, i addressed it multiple times, just because you are losing doesn’t mean you are harassed.

You could queue an epic bg against a premade and win with all random players, playing the game in it’s intended way, but that doesn’t change the fact that the premade team cheated by bypassing the 5 player group size. Sad that even needs to be explained, but I guess we’re at that mental level.

so whats the problem, if you can win against a premade, what harm is done?

  1. Harassment, “griefing,” abusive behavior or chat, conduct intended to unreasonably undermine or disrupt the Game experiences of others, deliberate inactivity or disconnecting, and/or any other activity which violates Blizzard’s Codes of Conduct or In-Game Policies.

wrong interpretation.

That’s your opinion, the ToS is a fact.

sure, but its also shared by blizz, that argument gets tried all the time.

you are trying to say that you lost, therefore you didn’t have fun, therefore your experience was diminished, therefore harassment. so then anything that causes you to lose, such as premade, is harassing you.

problem is losing is part of the game, everyone loses, you’re not special.

But winning through a means of cheating is against the rules, if you we’re able to queue with 40 people in a raid group then you would be allowed to do so, by going around that rule you are harassing and griefing others playing the game fairly.

if we were premading just to run into you specifically, so that we could GY farm you specifically to cause you specifically to quit the game, then you could have a case for harassment, but even then you have made that difficult as posting on the forums paints a target on your back, if you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.

I’m not worried about having a “target” on my back in a video game, that’s so cringe lmao. Once again everything you’ve said is irrelevant to the topic.

the only people who could make illegit claims of harassment from premades would be Me and Alec, both our communities target each other for KOS. when the general playerbase knows your name, even if they dont know you personally, they just know of you, then they will go after you, people like to chase famous kills.

so now you are going running into that headfirst and already claim harassment for losing, what are you going to claim when people start calling you out for KOS because they recognize your name from the forums?

You’re just going to have to accept that these premade clowns are going to exploit queue syncing to go around the premade size limit because they don’t care about anyone but themselves. They aren’t after a fair experience. They aren’t after meeting new people or playing with friends. At the core, they’re after winning no matter the cost.

The only recourse I can see is to report them in game for cheating. It’s really easy to do nowadays.

I get targetted every random BG anyways just for wearing Gladiator, jealously thrives hard amongst the battleground players even in rated, it’s nothing new lol.

i would like to know when the solo scene shifted from “i would like content too” to “take their content away too!”

Preventing epic BG premades wouldn’t be removing any content for anyone, you would just have to play the BG fairly.

Could you two just get a room already? LOL

i think we play pretty fair tbh. we don’t hand pick who gets in and who doesn’t, there aren’t gear checks or build inspections, nobody is looking at your armory profile to see what your PVP history is. teams are assembled randomly pretty much on a FIFO basis just like the queue system. in game we generally just execute map strategy better than the last game, we aren’t in there GY farming for 2+ hours.

the only difference is i know my people are there to play epics, not sit afk in a cannon. its still a random team, its just pulling from a higher quality pool of players. i have the option to push arena for better rating to get better gear, so when i run into a situation where i am out geared, i can blame blizzard for the system, but i can also blame myself for leaving advantage on the table. you have the option of creating your own pool of players to queue with, that is the fairness, you are leaving that option on the table and then getting mad at me for not doing the same.

i don’t mind losing, i just don’t want to play with losers. the sour toxic attitude most solo’s have when the game doesn’t look like an automatic free win puts me in a foul mood, and i would rather not put up with that.

keyword “think” I’m not leaving any option out… it’s exploiting to bypass the intended group size for content, why would I jeopardize my account and go against my good will just to have a stacked team? I’m not going to get upset because people aren’t playing to my liking, if people are afk you can just tag them afk and they’re gone…

that’s just your opinion. my opinion is that the group size is a left over relic from when AV and IoC were in the random pool with the rest of the games. 5 man was the limit because it was 50% of a 10 man game. its size relative to 40 man wasn’t even considered.

if anything being their own bracket, epics should allow larger premade groups if not full ones.

If you were allowed to queue a premade group for EBGs that’s larger than 5, you’d be able to queue as a raid. Going around that limit by queue syncing is, by definition, exploiting.
