Neither player is breaking any rules.
But the issue of trust here is huge.
Blizzard won’t honor any reports of “But he stole my gold”

Someone here understands bli$$ard. Blizzard speaks $$$. Blizzard does not speak gamer
Susan and her teams will be in control of the economy. 1 player with 10g can’t compete with a team. Even early on. Susan will probably ne the only one with 10g to begin with. Lol
My God. Fortunes will be made…
They literally said that is it against the ToS.
Susan
Lol, Susanxpress… totally forgot about them. Thats some legit classic nostalgia right there!
They literally said that is it against the ToS.
Um… where?
Um… where?
Gold exchange between players in WoW is subject to our terms of service.

Source? Because if you can trade gold between realms and regions in WoW, I don’t know why you wouldn’t be able to trade between Classic and Retail.
"There is no direct means for characters in BfA to transfer gold to characters in WoW Classic. This would be highly disruptive for Classic as the economies of these two games are very different.
Gold exchange between players in WoW is subject to our terms of service. Purchase of gold from 3rd parties could lead to suspension or banning of accounts."

Only this time round they will be mages, not rogues/hunters.
They figured that out via pservers.
Once they get blizzard you’ll see them farming mob groups.
@Shocknyou, correct. They said its subject to our terms of service, NOT that its a violation of such.

Honestly this thread and people in it make me SICK. You guys are literally foaming at the mouth desiring to ezmode money in the new game. Makes me disgusted. Glad Blizz clearly said it violates their terms.

If you’re going to troll, at least be a fun troll. D:

Where? Link? Evidence? They were clearly vague.
Man if you can find somebody willing to part with 1000 classic gold for any amount of the worthless bling that retail gold has become, more power to you.
@eaglesgift its relevant because you could pay for your sub by buying wow tokens in retail with gold earned in classic
If you are that desperate for sub time, anyone but a complete idiot would farm it for themselves on retail. Classic gold in any real quantity does not come easy.

1,000,000 G on BFA = 7 months of game time. I’d hardly say thats worthless. Nevertheless, its an arbitrary figure. Call it 100g, call it 5g. What matters is can we spend $$$ to get Classic gold, through the above said means.
That doesn’t make sense, if it doesn’t come easy in classic it will just make the value higher in retail. Essentially you could play classic to earn your sub money for players interested in doing so.
The ToS doesn’t seem to be violated unless retail is considered another game. And even then I can’t tell with the wording.

What if we buy directly from China persons?
