Is it against ToS to trade retail gold for TBC server gold? No RMT just trading gold for gold.
This is more then likely gona be a no since theres no way to do it ingame.
not against tos, just not supported, if you get ripped off blizzard won’t give you your gold back.

I understand Blizzard can’t support it, that’s fine. But if it’s not against ToS than how was my other account suspended for 14 days? I petitioned the suspension and I just get a generic response. No RMT was done, I bought wow tokens sold them on AH and traded the gold on live for gold on TBC.
But theres no legitimate way to transfer gold from retail to classic tokens dont exist on classic so that kinda gold is hard to come by even back in the day of BC.
On a side note were not allowed to discuss account actions so all you can do is apeal tickets are averaging 24hrs.

Quite possible the people you got the gold from or traded with obtained things by dodgy means, and you’ve probably (unwittingly or not) gotten caught up receiving the proceeds of RMT, scams etc (How’d you think they’d get that much gold in TBC easily?)

Yall say “That amount of gold”, It was 1.5k gold for a token on retail. There are people running around with 100k on TBC.
I highly dount it was legitamet but all you can do is apeal.
Maybe - but you can’t be 100% sure the gold was obtained legitimately. Part of the unsupported thing is you’re still not immune from account action if things go south.
Not here for debate though, nor discussion as to why you were banned - that’s between you and Blizzard. Good luck with your appeal.
This has absolutely no bearing on what you participated in. As mentioned above, the gold you received was likely NOT earned in-game legitimately. It was most likely stolen/illicit gold.
Unfortunately, you’re responsible for the whole transaction too as you were a part of it.
You’re welcome to appeal the action until such time that you are told no further appeals will be entertained.
