i tip 10g, 15g if they need to come to orgi or dara coz HS on cd
Someone explain the definition of a tip to him? If you want 25g post that you are charging 25g. And if thatās the going rate, why donāt we just buy it off the AH. If mats are 50g Iām not tipping 25g like get real.
You could ignore this entire debate and never get mad about low / no tip situations again if you just sell vellums on the AH.
Sitting around in the city trying to compete with the enchanting robots is a waste of time.
This is literally the only reason I level professions lol, to make gold from other players not from tips obv
and to the OP itās a tip theyāre not required to give one, Iām an enchanter if i donāt get tipped i donāt get tipped, make scrolls if you want specific gold income
Any time i make something and someone says āhow muchā i put āhowever much you wanna tip if anything. Nbd to me.ā
People tip bigger doing it that way
You dont get to set tip prices. You can, however, set a price and call it a day. If you charge 10g and require a 20g tip, just charge 30g up front. Problem solved. I will mail you my invoice.
I only get chants from guildies now with my own mats.
Got a guildie who DE"s for me and takes a cut of mats ~10%.
As for the rest, I use AH.
I never ask a price or tip, be amazed how many times ive gotten a huge tip. Just for being friendly.
im still giving 10g for an enchant.
if you dont think 10g is enough, cancel the trade and give me my mats back.
ill take the job somewhere else because i know thereās hundreds of enchanter who will take the 10g in the blink of an eye.
So not at all for personal use? With wrath itās not at all for the benefit of the profession, like extra sockets to gloves and bracers from BS or ring enchants from enchanting?
I tried to get an enchant from some druid spamming trade yesterday. he didnt even answer me. would have tipped 45g. gave it to some mage who was probably ballin already
Farm mats, enchant vellums, set your own price.
Correct, itās literally only to make gold from other players because every crafting profession (except engineering) give roughly the same bonus
AP for example:
BS - 2 sockets for 2x32 ap gems - 64 ap
ench - 2 rings for 2x40 ench - 80ap
scribe - 104 ap to shoulder minus 40 from sons of hodir - 64ap
lw - 130 fur lining ap minus 50 from greater assault - 80ap
I just accept whatever tip I get and feel gratitude that I was getting free money for a tiny amount of time. Sometimes I hit it big and get 25 or 50g. Other times itās 5g.
I donāt rely on tips to make my gold, I only leveled enchanting so i could DE flip and enchant my own stuff at the cost of a vellum. Itās also nice to be able to enchant guildies for free.
I usually tip based on the value of the enchant. If itās +30 spellpower to weapon I tip 25g, If itās something basic like +28 spellpower to gloves then its 5g.
Uh, no. If someone is providing their own materials they donāt owe you jack, any tip at all is a gratuity. If you want to make money for your time invested in your profession of choice you go to the auction house
Why not just say that up front instead of the ātips appreciatedā crap that people say?
Which will just lead to asking for an enchanter and then if no response, instantly go to the auction house and buy a vellum there, if one is available. All youāre doing is being petty.
Is that what you tell the waitress when you stiff her with a 2% tip? āIf you want a fair tip, you should state it as a FEE on the bill derp derp.ā
You clicked 3 buttons. Get over yourself.
Enchanter here. I click two buttons when I enchant things for someone, regardless of whatever work I did before.
if you want to tip me, awesome. I thank you for it. If you donāt bother, I donāt care. I just like using the skill I wasted my time leveling.
Thatās why itās called a tip. Anything else is a āfeeā.
