In a restaurant you tip the server based on the bill, how does that equate to this situation here where there is no bill to tip on?

MMM your the restaurant owner in this case and you dont have your menu price avail and when you steak costs $10000 and they cant pay you throw them out without dinner.

lol i get 50g tips consistently and ijust invite people run to them and tell them have fun tip me what u want its a tip. while the dorks spam trade with the cringeworthy macros

It’s not often that players “state a price”. They will provide the service for a tip. If you’re incapable of giving a fair tip and resort to the excuse “you should charge a fee if you don’t accept cheap tips!!”, I am not worried about the market drying up from the cheap crowd. People like you waste my time.

What an amazing comparison. World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Classic gold is absolutely equivalent to US dollars wherein wages are often set extremely low because someone might receive a tip whereas WoW gold income is standardized outside of the player economy.

Oh also most people are likely not trying to make a living off WoW gold.

Do what every other profession does. Post them on the AH and don’t respond to requests in trade. That way you can gouge the ever loving heck out of everyone.

Unless otherwise stated beforehand you’re actually providing the service for free, and the tip is at the discretion of the player using your service.

Correct but if the tipper decides not to give anything or something insulting, I am free to not conclude the exchange and return the mats to you.

While the cheap player may get upset, I really don’t care.

I don’t care about your life. The simple point is that if I spend time and gold levelling a profession, don’t expect that I will give you free access to it without suitable compensation.

If that concept upsets you that much, “go touch grass hur hur”.

Haha 20g seems a bit steep for just pressing a button for a profession skill that you were going to level anyway. I mean, if I have to drag you out of your way to get to where I am so you can do the enchant for me, yea I’d tip you more for the inconvenience, but if you’re just standing around a city enchanting, what did you really do for that?
