i have no dog in this race, i dont really care about gold in classic, but why is this intended? Just seems silly to stop people from playing the game the way they want to.

I ran Magtheridon’s Lair, and Serpenshrine Cavern Hydross the ubstable, and did not get any gold. What up with that? Are you trying to stop us from having fun.

A senior test analyst for the wow classic team posted on X (formerly known as twitter), that the 0 gold change to old raids is intended. Not a bug.
Oh ya? Also why the trash after Noth, a well known gold farm, so happens to not be dropping gold as well? Meanwhile all other mobs and raid bosses in Naxx still drop their usual gold. Don’t let the GM fool you they’re the left hand that doesn’t yet know what the right did yet.

The gauntlet is the giveaway.
This is a short sighted and foolish change. If they want to increase revenue from selling gold (WoW tokens) then go after 3rd party sites and regulate the token prices based on beating out RMT. I personally don’t care either way, tokens are giving SIGNIFICANTLY more gold than you can even spend right now with the game being devoid of content for the last few months. TOT update moving up is great and appreciated but we desperately need more content, not less.
