I normally dont agree with asmonbald but one of the few things i do agree with him on is that bosses shouldnt need to be nerfed 50 times after release just to be somewhat fair.
The boss should come out and not need to be nerfed at all.

Wish I were in a guild that was doing some mythic at all. They dead or struggle to clear heroic. It’s so hard to find a weekend guild.
No adjustments to the raid in the patch notes is… very unexpected, unless they made changes and forgot to add them in.
wow recruitment discord helps.
but there were none.
Probably the only nerfs left Fyrakk can eat are in P2, and maybe a slight HP nerf. There’s a lot of raid comp overhead in it, and a lot going on in general, but corralling adds is much harder than dealing with Shadow Cages.
As for Tindral… I’m not sure what else in that fight is still overwhelmingly difficult after the last gigantic nerfs. Maybe dispels.
Edit: The Fyrakk intermission soak mechanic is annoying, and very easy to wipe to. :\ I don’t like it at all.
Maybe 2 weeks before it ends they’ll just remove the mythic dispel mechanic and make it like heroic lol.
I was super surprised that we didn’t see raid nerfs this Tuesday, though with the craziness going on with PS, that might be why.
I don’t think we will hit 1000 CE guilds this season and for all the people thinking that they are part of an exclusive CE club… do they not realize if fewer guilds hit CE that the number of feeder guilds or guilds that care about CE will go down?
The mythic scene is already small and we don’t want to watch it go the way of the rated battle ground.
maybe P1 fyrakk the frontals could get a damage nerf but the P1-P2 orb soak is awful
There really isn’t much to nerf on Fyrakk without tanking the fight. I could see them maybe cutting down on the number of blazes or damage.
To me p2 is probably the worst part of the fight; the blaze/firestorm/add spawn overlaps are incredibly cluttered. It’s very easy for people to get dumped by firestorm procs (ive seen 3-4 stacked nearly on top of one another) while running with/from blazes, then inadvertently hitting healing adds. If this is a pain point for any guild with a few players constantly making positioning mistakes, this is going to be a very low total number of CE guilds season.
This whole phase is painful because grouping adds is very finicky when you have to use knockbacks. Sure, simple once it’s all grouped, but auto-wipe in most cases it’s not close to perfect.
And the Firestorm and Blaze overlap is a visual vomit, and you can only zoom out so far to see where your Blaze lines are going. We try to mitigate it by stacking on one half of the platform, but you’re also running over your own raid while a lot of damage is likely going out, too.
Sylvanas and Tindral also had visual clarity issues, and no amount of turning things down ever helped with it, either.
704 guilds have gotten it down so far. Certainly if we don’t see further changes it’s under 1k for CE this tier. In modern times, that would put this about with Eternal Palace at bit under 1k for the tier.
Sepulcher was likely similar to our current raid, but there was one final round of nerfs that occurred about 1.5 to a month from S4 shadowlands launching. According to warcraftlogs it was roughly 1400 guilds got CE in sepulcher.
Who knows what the developers think of that number. If they think that’s healthy or not. I mean eternal palace wasn’t that long ago…and they seemed cool with it, I guess.
They could do what they said they were going to do at the end of Sepulcher, and get rid of the insta-wipe and raid wipe stuff.
Zaps from P1 shades don’t 1-shot (or nearly so) anymore.
Fireballs from rifts, same thing.
Somebody misses a ball in P1 it damages the raid but doesn’t kill half the people.
But Ion’s whole “we won’t do this again, promise” at the end of Sepulcher was just another lie.
Another week and no changes. I’m starting to think they’re content with the difficulty curve as it is.
They’re too busy with their new IP project, plunderstorm, to invest any time into retail.
It looks like they gave away the CE cutoff date.
In their update post, it says you’ll be able to race in the northrend cup during S4.
Northrend cup is currently scheduled to start on Apr 30.
So buckle up, you’ve got about a month now.
Wish we had an actual way to talk to the raid developers so I could actually figure out why they make these boneheaded decisions repeatedly.
Makes insane diff curve raid tier causing most guilds outside of extreme hardcore to disband
Devs: Where’d the raid guilds go? (surprised pikachu)
Ion will promise they won’t do it again.
Just like he did at the end of Sepulcher, remember?
Blizz hard sleeping at the wheel, Guild with 200+ pull on Smolderon, 500+ pull on Tindral, 500+ pull on Fyrakk are getting more and more common, thats if you survived for this long.
No nerf is going to leave a big mark on the more casual CE comunity.
they can stop pulling and take a break when they dont want to do it anymore.
let them have something to work towards.
