It begins at 1% or less and decreases significantly after the first kill. That is ridiculously low even by MMORPG standards. Why even add the mount to the game if almost no one can have it outside of the 1 out of 19312882032 players or bought it during D3 release.

Update: I ended up getting the mount. No, it was not worth the number of hours it took.
The mount is 1% on the first kill and gets lower? I was under the impression that 1% was the regular drop rate for it.
I dont know the drop rate for the mount, all i know is that im tired and frustrated.
Ive been doing the event several times every day.
I must be at around 150 kills by now.
Still nothing.
All i want is for the stupid mount to drop so i can go back to actually having some fun in the game.
Apparently, it starts at or below 1% and gets lower from there. That’s why I think it’s absurd.
I’m already seeing less and less people even bother with goblin on my servers because a lot of others think the drop rate is retardedly low. It’s so low you actually have a better chance of getting invincible reins from wotlk than getting the mount. That should be a red flag most minds.
At this point, I’m just cycling through a few of my lower toons in Org and Stormwind to get that 36-slot bag. I’ve given up on the mount.
I thought it was 4 % for first daily run on your account and 1 % after .

Someone said yesterday (I think it was yesterday) that the Charger is going to make its way to the Trading Post after 10.1.5 drops.
I have no idea if this is true but if it is, save your tenders!
My dad is a mount collector and has been farming it since the event started and I h=got it randomly on my third kill just cause the gobbo was near where I was. Wishing everyone the same crazy luck I got.

I’ve seen 2 people so far receiving the mount on kills I’ve made.
Also, there are mounts in WoW with much lower drop chances, like the (I think it’s called) Love Rocket.
I got it on my like 4th Goblin kill and got the bag first kill on my Monk, Shaman and Priest who are also the only characters I’ve killed the goblin on.
i’m sorry that you didn’t participate in the annual pass or buy it from the shop and haven’t gotten it yet and only half 1 1/2 weeks left to farm it on a 30 minute timer.
no idea why you goofballs are torturing yourself chasing this now lame mount. it was cool when it had been unobtainable for like 10 years. now its been sold for cash, dropped from gobs, and will certainly soon be available for tendies since they decided to ruin other removed mounts rarity there too.
tldr; go touch grass and before you know it it’ll be available for purchase for 700 tendies
Tyrael’s Charger is a recolor of Celestial Steed, which, is a recolor of Invincible.
I already have Invincible, which I personally think is the best version of the three, and always obtainable for a while now, just a bit rare.
Imo, give us a newer Pegasus mount, maybe. It’s a cool skeleton, I’m sure they could give us some better skins from the modern era- all 3 of these mounts are old now. They just didn’t age as well, Invincible probably the best.
I believe they directly stated it will be available on the Trading Post before the end of the year. That will be a 100% drop like it was on the store several months ago.
u assume correctly, Its a 1% chance most fo the day its increased by 3% for first kill. Making first kill of the day a 4% chance.
It’s a rare drop so, yeah it has a low drop rate. If it bothers you that much then just wait for it to turn up in the Trading Post.
I hope it shows up in the trading post, I got it from the event so one less thing to spend my tenders on, and everyone with bad rng can get it too if hey want.

all drop rates are way to low. no new player will bother with the ammount of time it would take to farm all the mounts. took asmond 247 times to just get the mawmuncher over 8 months for 1 mount.
