i finally got the mount today waiting for my group to be ready for a key but i 100% agree that the drop rate is way to low. i spent more time than anyone should farming him and im finally free
how is that a positive experience in the game. people feel this for all the stuff in the game. mounts, toys, and gear.
how is what a positive experience in the game? most stuff in this game has a retarded low drop rate to the point it no longer feels special by the time you get it just finally done farming that joy from not having to farm it anymore not joy because u got something rare. wow is almost 20 years old which means ive spent almost 19 years farming the mount from stratholme and the only time ive seen it drop was when i was leveling a alt and rolled a 1

According to Blizzard itās a higher drop chance on the first kill and lower on subsequent kills, all you talking about drop rates have no idea because Blizzard never told us.
at 1 point i was doing over 40 runs a day
blizzard doesnt have to tell us. its been almost 20 years so the safe math is 1% at the highest and .01% as the more realistic drop rate
i hate pointless grinding. the only reason id gets anything in the game is for completionism nothing more. but sinking an entire single player game worth of play time doing a single dungeon over and over again for one item in the game is plain stupid and not worth the effort. itās not that MMOās got worse. itās that the newer generations of gamers are good at cost benefit analysis when it comes to time investment in a game.
Iām fine, I already have the mount so itās cool guys, donāt worry.

This is what I been doing. One gets bag, swap to alt, rinse repeat. For the cities anyway, my main still doing all the Dragonflight zones. At this point canāt even give the pet away, everyone already has it. Got the 1-handed Wirtās leg 7 times now, never seen the other 2 versions, and of course, not the mount yet.
To be totally honest, I think you are right. Iāv lost count how many hours I spent farming goblin and nothing to show for it.
Iām done farming that blasted mount. Itās pure nonsense to spend as much time as I did for something Iāll probably grow bored of in about a week anyways.
So, for all those continuing to farm that mount good luck. This tauren has grown tired of the RNG shenanigans.

my friend got it on his first kill & had no idea just how lucky he got 
I honestly am both grateful yet guilty I managed to get the mount on the very first goblin spawn at the very beginning of the event. My friends have been struggling trying to get it, getting more and more frustrated with every goblin kill, and I donāt even know if Iām capable of getting the drop again to even pass it to them.
I got everything I wanted out of the event on the first day just doing the goblin rounds, so Iām done with the event. But Iāve still been coming along now and then trying to help. I was able to pass the minion off to everyone, and a few of the weapons, butā¦ otherwise, itās been gold. Gold. Gold. Gold.
I normally like gold, but it feels like as the eventās gone on, thatās all literally anyone has been getting. Gold, and sometimes the minion. Just listening to chatter around the gobbo spawn + after itās died, it sounds like a lot of people are struggling to get anything else. Rare few may get a bag or one of the toys, but Iāve yet to see anyone say they got the mount.
Honestly I wouldnāt be surprised if Blizzard stealth nerfed drop rates at some point after day 1, but itās hard to tell. I just hate seeing my friends frustrated over this event.
