Fishing contest was a blast. We were joined by a pesky gnome. How was the gnome pesky? Well, it’s a gnome. Anywho, lots of laughs, good rp, and prizes a many. I feel very fortunate to be in this guild. It really is a great group of people.

To be honest, we don’t do a lot of casual RP at the moment. My experience is that goblins are often treated with scorn ICly by other races, and this becomes a little bit tiresome. Not so much by people that know us, but by strangers, yes.
It’s been a bit disheartening for me, as I have been encouraging the walk-up scene. I don’t want the Horde to be segregated and only RPing with others of the same race, but I don’t have any solutions as yet. One of the big problems is the complete dominance of blood elves, so anyone of a “minor” race can feel a bit out of place or excluded.
It’s also the MG Horde has been “caged up” in guild RP for a number of years, which is proving to be a hard thing to break out of. We’ve forgotten how to play nicely together. Alliance side RP tends to have more racial balance and tolerance. As a forsaken, I’m sure you’ve occasionally had the “Ew, it’s a deader” reaction. Even when it’s supposedly IC, it’s not enjoyable to receive.
I’m open to suggestions on improving the situation.
So anyway, as a result most of our RP is conducted as events. We’re happy to associate with non-goblins, provided you can cope with our humorous, mischievous, and money-grabbing ways.
If you’d like to do some RP with us, these are the RP events we have planned or plan to attend this coming week:

I plan on being there for the Dec 7th event as long as my wife doesnt have any other plans. All I can say far as the RP goes though is to just keep on gettin’ at it and eventually those barriers will come down. So far, I’ve had no problem getting RP as my undead and nobody giving nay flak.
Rhexxa and myself tend to be at the tavern nights on Wednesdays too. We cant leave Mabbil without backup.

Flashbang will be entering its first current raid tier tomorrow night. Its sure to be a blast!
Well, tonight’s the night gang. Flashbang Exports will be entering Uldir as a United front. Ya know, the short, green and menacing kind of front. Nevermind. T-minus 2.5hrs till blast off.
Final result of our first raid night. We raided for just 2 hrs. Our all goblin team downed Taloc, Mother, and Zek’voz. Mother was simplified when a few of our engineers managed to disable her laser defense system. Go goblin engineering!

I have the most amazing team of Head Supervisors! Goblins are so supportive of each other, it must be something to do with being the underdog and all that.
So if you are thinking of going down this crazy, fun road, expect to share the laughter and the tears together. You don’t have to be perfect to join our guild. You just have to understand that no one else is perfect either!

8.1 day. Beginning today, xp needed to level has been reduced by an average of 25% per level. The dreaded 60-80 level range has been reduced by about 40%. So what does that mean?

Finished our Uldir run last night. We’re gettin’ better! Oh, and we had a large group full of goblins, troll, orc, and blood elves during our rp event just before we raided.
There’s room for more in the gang with the bang! We’re still looking for more goblins that we can make some coin off of. Whether you’re an inexperienced role player, or the Katharine Hepburn of role playing, you could call Flashbang Exports home.

I have developed the greatest invention of all time. What is it? Well I only divulge that information to guildies and even then on a need to know basis.
Step 1: join guild. How? Whisper anyone from the guild. All you have to do is type in the chat box, /who Flashbang, and whisper anyone you find listed in the window that opens up. It’s really that easy. Step 2: have to complete step 1 first…
So I was talking to a recent migrant from WrA on discord yesterday, and apparently our little guild is getting to be known on many servers across WoW. The reason is basically because goblin guilds are very uncommon, or at least are hard to get going. Many have themes, but are not goblin exclusive like we are.
So I hope you don’t mind if I take a moment to applaud our goblin family. In just 10 months, we’ve made history, and we will continue to promote goblin RP and events for as long as we are still breathing.
This could even be the selling point for MG Horde! Perhaps goblin RP for MG, can be what dwarf RP is to WrA.
I would even encourage the formation of other goblin guilds to give people more options. The way to do this would be to find a selling point that is different to Flashbang Exports. We are very much stereotypical, money hungry style goblins. There’s plenty of scope to be different and either ally or oppose us.
According to Warcraft realms, goblins are more popular (proportionately) on MG than pandaren or any allied race, even nightborne! So let’s keep up the good work and keep rolling goblins. Good stuff does come in small packages!
We’ll be at the Horde Guild Expo on Friday night, which we are hosting!

The Guild Expo seemed to be a hit! Hopefully all of the other guilds present were able to increase their numbers. We managed to find another goblin for our gaggle. I also hope that maybe there were some spectators that finally got their feet wet in rp with some of the many guilds there. Maybe bring a few new members to the horde on a bit more of a permanent basis!
