This weekend on Saturday 15 September at 8pm server time, Flashbang Exports is hosting a comedy club night at the Broken Tusk tavern in Orgrimmar. Come along for some laughs!
EVENT: COMEDY CLUB NIGHT
What: A evening of stand up jokes
When: Saturday 15 September, 8pm CST
Where: Broken Tusk Tavern, Orgrimmar
Who: All Horde welcome
Contact: Hosted by Finzi
We're looking for more goblin tanks!
For some reason people don't generally equate crafty little goblins with muscles and power, but it simply isn't true.
Size is over-estimated.
Roll up a blood death knight or protection warrior today. We're happy to take on people who have yet to gear up, or are new to tanking.
The main thing is that you are available! We need people we can rely on.
In fact, I've had to try to fill in the gap myself with a boosted character. Have you ever seen a healer try to tank? It's not pretty. Help!

If you don't mind me asking, what is the IC reason behind the "Goblins only" thing?
Again, I mean no offense, just merely curious. Every goblin cartel or major goblin organization that has ever existed has always employed mercenaries and enforcers from other races.

It's a good question, thank you for asking it!
Goblins are, let's be frank, an unpopular race. Making up only about 1.6% of Moon Guard's player base, they are seen as "ugly" by some, and "short" by others. Some people also find them a challenge to role play, as it takes a certain personality. You need to be confident, a little bit cheeky, and a good sense of humor.
That can be quite hard to pull off if you're by yourself. But, in a group of goblins, it just comes naturally. If you're new, it's easy to learn to be a goblin just by hanging out with us.
People love the atmosphere we create.
As we are an active guild, we have had requests from other races to join us. Thank you, we're flattered. You're welcome to join our discord and other channels. But you can't be in the guild.
Why not?
If we 'water down' the goblins by allowing other races, pretty soon we'll be flooded by elves, trolls, undead, and orcs. People won't bother rolling goblins anymore to join us, and that goes against the primary objective of the guild, which is to promote and educate about goblin lore.
I want people to see Flashbang Exports and think goblins, not mercenaries. Yes, we're happy to work with other races and guilds. But even goblins have a home and a family, and that's what we provide.
I would say over half of our guild is comprised of people that rolled goblins just to join. That's fantastic. If you love goblins enough, then you have to walk the talk.
If you're super attached to your class or your race then there's lots of other guilds out there. Granted, it won't be the same experience. Being a goblin (doesn't have to be exclusive, an alt is fine) is something that we ask.
I put the call out for tanks for anyone thinking of creating, moving, or boosting a character to join us. We are doing some casual PvE content, so it's good to have balanced groups!
We're also short on a few professions as most of us are engineers. Jewelcrafters and scribes are currently sought after!
I hope that answers your question.
As far as I know, goblin-only guilds are extremely rare. We're one of only a handful across all WoW servers. That's mainly because goblins are hard to find.
It's also a very good reason for people to stay in the guild. Rare opportunities are not to be wasted!

We shall be there ready to defend!
The world may be crumbling, but Flashbang Exports is staying strong as a family unit!
Roll up a goblin. We could make Moon Guard the first and only goblin-dominated server!
Er...don't mind me, it's just my scheming, overactive little mind at work. I mean, what goblin DOESN'T want to take over the world?
I can see the headlines now...
"STORMWIND OVERRUN WITH AN UNPRECEDENTED GAGGLE OF GREEDY GOBLINS DRESSED AS BOOTY BAY PIRATES!"
....ah, the fun never ends.

If ever I get the cajones to make a goblin, I know exactly where I'll be putting em.
@Flywheel Stumbled across this thread whilst looking for a RP server and the idea of a Goblin RP Guild sounds like a blast! There is just one minor thing im an ozzie will the Timezones make it impossible? :(
Not at all, friend. They got you covered and have events during OZ hours as well. There's one this weekend even. This guild wants you!09/25/2018 06:30 AMPosted by Tinklix@Flywheel Stumbled across this thread whilst looking for a RP server and the idea of a Goblin RP Guild sounds like a blast! Kayn and Tink, I hope you join up sometime in the near future. Just join our discord if you'd like a taste of the action before you make a character here. Link:
Thanks Darvile, you're absolutely correct. I am actually an Aussie myself! I have lots of fantastic officers such as Faxmarth, Gadric, Endswell, Bizzie, and Finzi who help me to run events, so we have a good mix for everyone.
As far as I know, we are one of only a few guilds that actually makes Oceanic RP events. There's something about the goblin personality that seems to attract a lot of Aussies, haha.
Apparently it's this laidback culture we have, and a thing called "mateship". According to Wikipedia, it's defined as:
Mateship is an Australian cultural idiom that embodies equality, loyalty and friendship, usually among men. Russel Ward, in The Australian Legend, saw the concept as a central one to the Australian people. Mateship derives from mate, meaning friend, commonly used in Australia as an amicable form of address.
Apparently it all traces back to our days in the harsh life as a penal colony. Except, I think it applies to women too!
We are a very helpful, friendly guild, much like the old school days back in Vanilla. People from all over the world. You'd love it here.

Thanks for the replies.. joining the discord now :)
By far one of the greatest guilds I have ever had the good fortune of being a part of!
((This guild sounds like exactly what I've been looking for. I'm an old and probably pretty rusty roleplayer trying to get back into the RP scene. I haven't been very active in the RP community since wrath and most people I used to play with don't play anymore, and it's one of the aspects of the game I miss the most.
I'm a fairly casual player these days though as I work a lot, but I'm on most evenings for at least a little while. I'd like to get in contact with you folks.
Smutly is a former book dealer who used to have his own shop, which was destroyed in an explosion. Mostly he deals in magical books (the more rare and dangerous the better), but has been known to dabble in other trades as well. He's also an experienced caterer and bartender.))

Hey Smutley!
We don't have any book dealers, so you would be our first. I reckon with a few fancy tassels you could whack the price up and make some very fancy buckaroos.
We'd love to have you on our team! Just type in /who Flashbang to your little whizzing piece of technology and talk to any goblin rep you can find. We all have the keys to let you in. Provided you're an authentic goblin that is. We can't even take orcs under the effect of shrink potions. Sorry.
A gang of us are heading down to the Silvermoon City Marketplace at 7:30pm to score some good deals. You're welcome to drop by!

Flashbang Exports is an active and ridiculously silly guild. We just here to have fun, basically. So I guess you could say our pre-requisite is a sense of humor!
I am running a goblin lore expedition RP event tonight. We've also added some PvP events into our busy calendar. Thinking goblin? Think Flashbang!

Flashbang Exports has just unlocked the Rains of the Thundering Cloud Serpent for doing guild achievements!
Congratulations on all your hard work, team.
If you've ever wanted one of these mounts, better start thinking about rolling up a goblin!

Looking for goblin friends? We have heaps! We can teach you how to roleplay a goblin if you've never done it before (hint: it's super-easy).
We organise 2-4 events per week, and very sociable in guild chat. If you're extremely shy and don't like talking to people then we're probably not going to suit you very well, because well...goblins have always got something to say (usually a smart comment or a joke).
I'm about to start planning the calendar for November, so I'll post that when it's done.
In the meanwhile, we have a Blackrock Foundry (legacy raid level 100+) on this Friday 10pm. We have over 2000 guild achievement points from working together as a team!
GO GO GOBLIN POWER!
