This is a Neutral PVP DUEL event; RPers are heavily encouraged to come spectate, heckle, and place bets! Fighters may sign up at the door (please arrive early to get a spot) or in advance (DM Kíwi). To keep the fights moving, fighters are requested to be DPS specs only. Tank/heals exhibitions welcome after the match!
**GOBBODOME: TWO WILL ENTER, ONE WILL LEAVE!!! **
Gadgetzan cage, Tanaris - 8-10pm RT
Here’s ya fine print:
- Any level character can participate, but your chances are better at lv 70.
- Potions,Toys, Elixirs, and Food buffs are allowed.
- Leaving the ring voluntarily Disqualifies you from the match. Leaving the ring involuntarily (loss of control effects) does not.
- IC taunting is allowed. OOC taunting is not. Any acts of taunting and aggression OOC’ly will be subject to Disqualification or banishment.
- Brawlers cannot participate with Conquest gear. All gear must be up to current season blue gear, including Bloody Token gear. Conquest and PvP tier set gear are not allowed. (note that due to the timing of this month’s event, this will not be strictly enforced however it will be moving forward.) Conquest and Tier are welcome to fight in the exhibitions after the match.
- Allowed gear can be gemmed and enchanted.
Prizes -
1st Place: 20K gold
2nd Place: 10K gold
3rd Place: 5K gold
Sounds like chump change, right? BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE. Ya gonna pocket it, or ya gonna feed the pot? YOU DECIDE!
Any winner can choose to forgo their prize to be added to the pot. Once the pot reaches 120k gold a special Pot Brawl will commence in place of that month’s Gobbodome. The Pot will pay out the 120k divided amongst the winners. Pot Brawl payout cannot be put back into a new Pot.
(note that prizes are available only to MG and WrA toons at this time; other realms welcome to participate for fun or if you have an alt we can mail to should you place.)

It’s been a minute since I’ve been in here - like many other folks, we’ve been taking a little down time! We’re still around though, catching up on some legacy content, having mech battles with the Gnomes (which we naturally won, once again asserting the superiority of Gob tech), and general out and abouting doing Gob stuff.
We’re HIRING, btw! Enterprising Gobbos are welcome to apply with FBE, and we’ve opened our non-Gob division Bangflash Imports (crossfaction!) for hire as well for folks that like the Gob life but have the misfortune of not actually being a Goblin.
In other news, we’re still running Gobbodome each month! This month we’re trying something different to collect some more data that will guide future tweaks to our signature event! Here are the updated rules:

I’m just popping by to let folks know that between the Trading Post rewarding you for levelling and the extended Time Walking that’s going on right now, now is the PERFECT time to roll a new Gob and check out the Gob Life because you’ll be all levelled up quick-quick!
We’re actively looking for new Gobbos to help us revitalize and perk up during the slump so that we can hit the ground running when things pick up again!

The room falls quiet, at least by goblin standards, as Narixa Fusepop walks onto the podium. She clears her throat, quickly pulls a Flashbang Exports clipboard out from behind her back and proceeds to drop it. She tries to kick it off to the side before anyone notices.
Nari: Heya gobbos, Narixa here!
The room stays quiet, but some hands pop out to wave at her.
Nari: Shame you gobs missed last week’s party, because Boss gave me an EXPLOSIVE idea! One that will ATTRACT all the PROFIT!
There is a clear split between the audience, some rolling their eyes, some cheering already.
Nari: So now that we got all the buzzwords outta the way, time for some magnets!
Narixa hops off the stage to grab a heavy bag. She pulls what is clearly a bomb out of said bag, with a grin.
Nari: I know what you’re about to say: Nari, that’s a bomb. Did you honestly expect me NOT to include a bomb??
She yanks the fuse, which immediately lights up at the wrong end, prompting her to drop it. Her voice is filled with excitement as she starts to explain.
Nari: But this one does… Shrapneltising! You know all those guys wearing armor, right? These little Flashbang Exports badges will stick right to them!
Nari rubs her hands together with a grin, while continuing her presentation in a somewhat menacing tone as her bomb gets closer to going off.
Nari: Every guard… Every adventurer… Everything is free ad space!
The bomb explodes, showering everyone with little badges. Her voice goes from menacing, back to excited.
Nari: Bomb-launched advertising magnet badges! Magn-ads!
The inventor’s eyes water up, she starts shaking, not even noticing that her hair caught fire
Nari: It… Is… BEAUTIFUL!!!

It was recently asked if Flashbang still exists… Why yes we do!
We’re still around, though admittedly we’ve kept to ourselves over the past year or so.
Then the end of expac lull came along, along with multiple branches of WoW to scatter players into multiple directions.
But we are, indeed, still here, and still 100% (well, 99.5%) Goblin!
We’ve even set up shop in Cata Classic now that Gobs have made their introduction there (we’re on Bloodsail!). Most of our organized guild events are on pause til prepatch because of Remix, but RP is always welcome!!
