I’m trying to avoid the obvious sexist comment here about Ashvane. My brain is saying “do it!” but I know it’d come across as hardcore sexist (and rightly so).
I think that it’s a sign that you need to come out of the basement more often.

No I think many people don’t like Goblins because they remind them of RL people.
Humans in WoW are the epitome of things Humans would like to be in RL, selfless, acting for a good cause, helpful, courageous.
Goblins are what Humans are in the real world. They are the ones with mines and the Oil platforms, they are the ones sunbaking near polluted beaches, they are the ones with the limos and the mansions. They are the ones with the sports stadiums and the pool parties.
Goblins are us, and thats why I think many people don’t like them.

One word: anime.
Its like my friends arguing who more scary a 14 tall with horns. That not scary at all. That or a 4 foot green guy. Forgetting razor sharp teeth, sharp claws and predatory instinct. My bet: I still feel safe as i run toward a tuaren before a goblin. The odds are that goblin get you way before his friend will.
