…please for the love of God give ret/prot paladins the frontline buff in Ashran. Feels bad being “melee” and having half the HP of all the other melee.
Heck, you can even get rid of my WoG while in that BG – I don’t care. +100% hp and +100% healing received would be nice as a melee spec.
Adjust WoG, bring back cannot attack during bubble, and all will be right with the world.

You have it easy peasy! Try beig a Prot Warrior in Ashran bahahahaha I did it, I died a bunch I still had fun though.
My experience, ( Because of my Legendary ) Heroic leap in drop Ancient Aftershock, thunderclap, Revenge to get some bleeds up, trinket the 100% chance to be stunned, Heroic leap again to stun the players in back to get them to move allowing Horde to move forward, pop avatar on the 100% chance I am rooted, Heroic leap again stun them one more time and pop Intimidating shout… and die! Lmao!
It’s not as cool as being a Prot Pld doing amazing dps and surviving everything but Its fun and helps my team.
I believe thats only Blessing of Protection you cannot attack, Divine Shield Plds always could attack but they use to have a penalty of doing 50% dmg.
You will die over and over in epic Bgs as melee if you don’t position yourself correctly. You can’t just run into the front line like arrogorn did at the battle of mount doom. Attack the other melee first, wait for them to over extend, stay on the outskirts. eventually one side will push and you need to have an understanding of when you need retreat or advance
Correct it was hand of protection, we could not use melee attacks or deal physical damage. However spells and such were still castable with HOP on the player, so paladins could still deal damage but were limited to certain spells.
My mistake, I had it mixed up. I meant 50% reduced damage during bubble.
Popping an immunity shield and still having full access to all abilities at 100% damage is terrible when that damage output can oneshot people.
Literally nobody is getting one shot.
You sound like someone who doesn’t play the game. Ret pal with wings absolutely can oneshot.
