Update: THANK YOU FOR FIXING THESE AND FOR MAKING THEM AMAZING!!!
Why do the gnoll tents turn random directions regardless of player placement, and why do the tents all appear differently on player screens?
The Gnoll tents are such a great idea and would be a blessing to the rp community. However, these otherwise really cool toy tents have some weird flaws that effectively render them less than helpful to us.
- Increase the duration they last to at least 5 mins, as the community had requested. (Previous posts here: Requested Tools for Immersive Roleplay: Tents and here: Toy Feedback: Gnoll Tent ).
- Please have the tents turn a consistent direction when placed.
- Please make the tents be the same on everyone’s screen. The tents are turned in different directions per player view. This bug has been reported already and commented on, but so far there is no action taken on this bug (Separate post here: Gnoll Tent Different on Player vs Placer Clients) . See below for examples.
-Gnoll tents change directions based on the viewer. Two players can look at the same tent, and it will be turned totally different from each other. Below is a test we did. We are all the same faction, and were grouped in a party.
Example 1, Player 1: View of Gnoll Tents. Tents were all placed with the players facing north, and the tents dropped in front of the players. Yet, the tents were randomly turned without any …explanation.
Example 1, Player 2: Player has totally different view of the exact same Gnoll Tents, we are all grouped in a party. Tents were all placed with the players facing north, and the tents dropped in front of the players. Yet, the tents were randomly turned without any …explanation.
Example 1, Player 3: Player has totally different view of the exact same Gnoll Tents, we are all grouped in a party. Tents were all placed with the players facing north, and the tents dropped in front of the players. Yet, the tents were randomly turned without any …explanation.
