4 days and waiting, the approximate time was 2 days. How does it take so long to get a response when we pay a subscription. The last time I needed a GM was years ago, in that time I’ve paid 100s of dollars in sub money and bought an expansion, for what service?
What category of question? Response time really depends on that as well.
Mail restoration, the tool isn’t showing the expired mail. In Classic era.
Have you seen the self serve option?
Or you mean it doesn’t show it. Gotcha. Note this limitation, cannot be recovered if:
- The mail has expired after staying in the mailbox for too long
Yeah, It isn’t showing up on there.
I put all my tickets in through billing issues. It’s the only category they pay attention to.
Neat trick. And they deal with it through there?
I’d give up on that. I had around 140 items that showed up in the restore list but it didnt work. After a two day ticket, Blizz said there was nothing there.
I can get a person to respond, but it’s mostly just the ‘we’re sorry but can’t help/this is working’ kinda deal. They might be able to forward the ticket to another person. Worth a shot atleast, I do hope your issue gets squared away.
My GM response time
Game bugs several hours
Forums related several days
Yeah, finally got a response. “Can’t see your items here, because there is no record we can’t restore them.” How useless, clearly their tool is broken then. Good incentive to push away a returning player. The amount of time spend farming those Black Lotuses is huge.
The database only keeps track of items in the mail for so long. If it’s over 30 days, that stuff is gone.
I’m aware, thats why I don’t understand why it still showed up as being able to be restored. Thats a significant flaw, in my opinion.
If that’s the case, why did you let it expire in the mailbox?
This seems like a problem you created and now you’re mad Blizzard won’t fix it.
Sounds like you just answered your own question tbh.
I thought I was the only one oh my god.
Dang I just opened a ticket last night, said it was like an 8 hour wait. Guess I won’t be hearing from them for some time.
I put one in 30 minutes ago… already answered. So stop the drama.
Sorry your problem couldn’t be solved but as so the question of the wait time……I would say it depends on how many people are in line ahead of you.
And no, I’m not meaning to be snarky. I just think we forget sometimes that even though an issue is very important to us, there may be a number of people also waiting for a solution for issues important to them.
Lol at these complacent responses to a crap service. How conditioned to accepting poor support have players became. For those that played WoW when the player count was much larger in the original launch, TBC and WotLK we know they can do better and they use to. It’s all about $$ at your expense.
