GM ticket response time

the database doesn’t keep track of anything. it’s not showing anything for me. but i sent items from one char to another char. and the mail NEVER arrived.

exactly.
responce time used to be so fast that even when there were millions of people playing. you got a whisper from a gm in less then an hour ingame.

now there is only a fraction of that amount playing. who all have multiple subs so there is more money comming in for the amount of people there’s playing. and yet support suddenly can’t keep up? no they simply don’t care.

I was waiting roughly 4-5 days for my responses.

First response was automated and replied as if they didn’t even read my ticket.

4-5days later

Responded and looked into it but they looked at the wrong item

4-5 days later

Responded again about the same item

4-5 days later

Finally told me to report it as a bug.

for the service of playing the game. if an item isn’t on the item restoration list, they will not restore it.

i blame people wasting GM time with ridiculous tickets to get things they have a policy to not help with, if its not in the item restoration list, they will not restore it.

did op get their issues fixed? lol

Before the website changed to bnet, I had a ticket open in TBC that was 5 years old. I added a second ticket to it with, “Hello?” With the near immediate response:

Greetings, this is Game Master [some randomly generated name]!

Hi.

TICKET RESOLVED.

For the most part that is true, but there are exceptions to that where a GM is allowed to help, as long as it is something backed by the game logs or quest logs.

If someone wants to know if their situation might qualify for GM help, they can always ask on the CS forum and get a reply, often Blue, within a shortish time. That prevents the person wasting time on a ticket if it is something the GMs can’t do.
