GM made a mistake and now I cannot play my character, its been 16 hours

I made a simple request. I accidently purchased 2 faction changes, I only needed/used one. I made a ticket asking for a refund SPECIFICALLY for the change that I DIDN’T use. I named the character that I had it on and stated I would like to keep that one and asked if I could have the unused one refunded. I got a response saying they would refund it and that it was fixed. 10 Minutes later I was dcd from my character. Now for 16 hours there has been a gear next to my character that I wanted to keep the transfer on that says “Processing… This may take several minutes.” If I try to log into the character it says “You cannot log in until the character update process you recently initiated is complete.”

I have reopened the ticket and have gotten no response. Please help me fix this, it took long enough to get the first ticket answered, now I am forced to wait again. It was pretty obviously stated that I did not want this transfer refunded, the response and action that I got is infuriating and leads me to believe they did not even read my ticket. What is this?

The GMs are human and make mistakes from time to time. Always keep tickets concise and to the point. Naming the character you wanted to keep it on only added to the confusion. The only thing needed in your ticket was, “I’m requesting a refund for the unused character transfer.”

I’m afraid at this point, you’ll need to wait on your ticket.

Yes they make mistakes. This was my ticket “I accidentally purchased two faction transfers, I want to keep the one I used on my character frozia, but I don’t need the extra one.” I am sorry but there is no way to get that confused. However if there was any confusion, they could have simply asked me to clarify.

These mistakes happen because tickets are too “wordy”. Try putting yourself in the shoes of a CS rep who has been reading tickets for 8 hours. You’d go cross-eyed too.

I’ll admit, the first time I read what you sent, I did see it as “I don’t want to keep the one I used on my character frozia…”.

All in all, you’ll have to wait on your ticket and hopefully it can be corrected. Good luck!
