As others have said, this is ripe for abuse. Even if only 200 people are using it today, 400 may use it tomorrow and on and on. I would assume the addon was made to be used and distributed. It’s better it gets cut off at the knees as soon as possible regardless of whether any of the claims are true or not.
Even a completely neutral version is ripe for abuse. Mass reporting gets abused by Blizzard’s algorithm already, so I don’t trust any version of this addon whatsoever. I’d never heard about it before today, but I’m glad I do now and more people need to know about it so it gets squashed immediately.

If it was an alt, the achievement points would be the same.
It is different people at the very least but probably someone on the team or one of the mods who get to play judge and jury on the reports (for better or worse as that’ll be).

Well that is weird. I mean that was pretty close still but yeah I guess the achivement points aren’t always the same.
It’s just fishy that every time a new thread pops up theres a new alt with zero previous posts running it.

My money (all $0 of it) is on the chosen few who get to help run that thing behind the scenes are jumping on board to defend it.
The lack of transparency and overall attitude is just so frustrating. Too many devs still exist out there that just don’t see that criticism and feedback are blessings and gifts. It makes the product stronger and gives them the opportunity to engage with the end users and humanize themselves.

Honestly, I would never trust a community sourced player blacklist. Sorry but there are far too many out there to childish to be trusted with that power. I just keep a .txt file for people I want to avoid and that is good enough. I think I have three names on it since I started it back in BFA.
