Yeah or if they were gonna bring back an old mount theme, an updated armored Nether Drake would’ve been a nice callback to TBC’s Glad mounts to coincide with the Quel’thalas revamp (even though the Nether Drakes themselves aren’t from Quel’thalas lol, still makes more sense than Proto Drakes).
An armored Dragonhawk would’ve been cool though, sort of like how some old Glad mounts were basically just armored versions of other mounts from that expac (again using Nether Drakes as an example, but also the Wind Serpents from MoP, Storm Drakes from Legion, etc.)
