Glad in RSS requires more skills than in 3s and 2s

Unless it was like gimmicked glad, I’ve not seen this

I find that both reasonable and agreeable. I think RSS highlights individual skill more but I want to be clear you still need that skill in other modes its just supplemented and complemented by team work.

I will be honest I think most of the friction comes from the mount. If they made the mount available to both glads ( or a different color for RSS) and kept the title gladiator exclusive to 3s and legend to RSS it would get rid of most of the friction.

Yeah man, I get that. I’ve seen some wild mistakes too. But in my previous example, I don’t believe that a 2.4 RSS player is even close to a 2.4 3s player, but they MIGHT be close at around 3k+ MMR. I think that if there’s an RSS mount, it would have to be a much higher rating than 3s glad req

Yeah, I’d be cool with glad being a, “Congrats, you were one of the top players in X PVP mode” but probably just making Legend a permanent title in RSS would be fine, and offer a reskin of the glad mount

Yeah also most played FOTM stuff like ret war. And now are stuck in gutters cause they can’t be carried by class.

I think this is our only disagreement and its one of semantics.

I think a 2.4 RSS fighting a 2.4 3s would likely win solo. I think taking three 2.4 RSS and putting them against three 2.4 3 players… well the RSS would be utterly butchered even if the 3s just met.

The level or coordination in 3s puts RSS to shame.

I’ve done double dps 2s vs dhs with legend title and near that cr who made some of the most basic mistakes chasing after 2 dps around los from their healer without trinket and just get put down like a rabid dog.

I’ve not once seen anything in shuffle that didn’t just resemble a random bg road fight

Yeah it definitely has a different level of skill, no comms, random comps, so much fun too

I feel you. My highest rating is 1800 in RSS. (But I have less than 100 games on all my characters total this season. Trying to find a main lmao) and on my survival, I absolutely worked a multiglad arms warrior every opposing round and he went 0-6. I’ve seen a surprising number of multiglads lose 1-5 0-6. It’s hard to tell if this is an indication that I simply outplayed them with my limited experience, or because they bought glad or what, but I think this is a pretty good indication that a title that can be bought doesn’t mean as much, or we put it on a weird pedestal. I think by nature, RSS would be impossible to wintrade, right? Unless there’s something I’m missing

Or they’re playing a class or spec they’ve not played before.

A lot of it depends on what kind of lobby is coming in too that the warrior is with.

So you’re solution is to make it even more worthless?

The only thing I can say in their defense is some of them are actually new pvpers so they don’t have anything else to list. But yeah, a lifetime challenger DH/Lock who suddenly has solo shuffle elite is pretty eye roll enducing.

I feel the correlation between known experienced glad/r1 players and the players that populate the 3k+ range on the RSS ladder should not be disregarded.

I find it disingenuous to take up a postion of believing there is no overlap in skill between the two formats, and that of people getting caught up on what has historically been the glad range of rating not necessarily being applicable here because of massive inflation. Certainly a 2400 rss player likely is not as capable as a 2400 3s player, but if we talking about relative rating per populated brackets, dismissing RSS as a skillless rng meme format seems absurd to me.

And I say that as someone that has a deeper appreciation for rhe 3s format, in terms of pvp design philosophy, and would consider it the proper format for any type of formal competetive play.

They do, they use the healer shortage, thats how the websites are selling the ratings.

I think alot of players who BOUGHT their glad mounts are very defensive. Depending on the season they might have paid up to 1,000usd for it.

I BOUGHT my feldrake, I bought whole boxes of wow tcg cards, just for the tcg goodies… I dont like those magic the gathering games, I just wanted the in game goodies. And they started giving it away free, just to watch twitch. So I get it, no one wants their mount devalued.

Tell football fans to watch a person who is watching football having fun lol. Madness.

I’m sorry but the wow TCG was not even close to magic the gathering

I thought every example shown of shuffle “services” required account-sharing, which is very against the rules. :dracthyr_comfy_sip:

They pilot accounts also… But its easier to use 2 healers to manipulate the queue and get into the same match…

If you Queue up for RSS and its insta pop, or within a few min, probably rmt Boosters.

See, this whole thing was “just do research” and “the proof is right there” and the literal shred of evidence is just these sites saying that they only do pilots.

I could definitely see prot paladins being able to snipe each other as they have their own ladder but I haven’t seen a single instance of healers doing it. Or prot paladins, actually.

Just speculation that it could happen.

Like, I queue into these in 3s all the time but not shuffle.

2400 in RSS right now is 700usd. YES they do Pilot your account, and they have partners in the same match to help them. You see it at low rating also, soon as they cap one account, they grab the next, its probably not fun when its a full time job lol.

I hope Blizzard is NOT tracking this and does not do a BAN wave… Gonna be a ton of people offline and crying on the forums saying they was falsely banned lol.

Its always funny when Blizz does the pvp ban wave, you see the duel areas and even trade chat seems more quiet, thinned out lol.
