Give Worgen Tails (Part 2)

Not really… Your points are mostly made based on things that do not pertain to Worgen or WoW. It makes no sense.

I do find your desire to refuse people their desires in place of forcing your own, given that the request is for an optional tail and therefore you would not be forced to use it in any way, to be antithetical to my own views yes.

Imposing your will on others asking for optional things that won’t affect you in any way because you don’t like the mere suggestion that a collection of pixels might have a tail is very closed minded. You get back what you put in.

I…really hope they never cross that line with worgen, its fine for the dragons but would be beyond stupid to let worgen players fight as humans instead of their worgen selves. I mean okay fine the swap back to human out of combat may have its RP purposes but that should be the end of making the human form anything more than a costume.

Yeah and that’s exactly why we’re hoping to get them added as an option as worgen are severely lacking for options for their worgen form. The worthless human form has multiple tabs of options but worgen female get 6 things to pick from, men seven but only as the men got beards… compare that to everyone except a couple allied races and it’s clear they got the least amount of options and they’re a core race that’s been around since Cata.

They can get their option of one too, no reason they can’t we just want worgen to get the option as well as the panda don’t look as awkward without a tail as worgen do

Yeah that kinda stuff is what stuck up spoiled children do and is best left as ignored. Really wish folk who do that kinda stuff would just buzz off as all they’re doing is showing people how immature they are and getting laughed out of the room

Yeah and all we’re doing is what the folk who asked for those did, we’re asking for more optional stuff for the race we play that we’d love to see become a thing. Just because an option didn’t exist before doesn’t mean it can’t become a thing later. I mean the high elf skin colors and longer tails didn’t even have a lore reason attached to them yet they exist. Sadly instead of being supportive we got people coming in here frothing at the mouth spewing nonsense as if its fact and it all boils down to they don’t want us to have more options for our worgen because they personally don’t want them…which is the weakest reason to exist for why something shouldn’t happen.

Give worgen optional tails already Blizz

The game is tanking anyway, It’s actually bonkers to me that this was not added after the trading post, but if its any reflection on the actual game play I should really not be surprised.
I don’t even think going free to play would bring people back at this point and you got devs mocking a simple request.
WoW will forever fall short in so many areas of game play, but nothing like its imensly missed potential of player immersion and customization (thats at least not heavily biased for certain races). Worgen tails is not even the oldest request, with some community wants going back to vanilla that to this day never seen the light.

I can’t even believe we finally got player housing, but I guess it was one of those “uh oh, we’re actually losing a lot of people now” moment decisions. Wild to me that people think Worgen cant have tails because “something something lore” like its not 100% tied to Blizz knowing they wont lose much $$$ if they dont add them.

What is baffling is that they are adding new character customizations option “when they have the time” while it should be a priority to add as much as possible for races that are severely lacking.

We are asking for an optionnal tail but beards for trolls is also a regular request and yet something far less controversial than the optionnal tail for the worgens is not even on the table.

We got pointy ears for our human form but we all know that’s only because we share the human database, meaning having them for the worgens is purely accidental.
And let’s be honest: It was granted because it was both a popular demand AND it concerns humans / Kul tiran.
The elves were supposed to get the round ones but it was not released for some reasons.

Such preferential treatment in a game with several races is disgusting if you ask me.

I am not the arbiter of tails or no tails. I am not refusing you anything. I am merely expressing a point of view that tails do not make sense. Worgen are not werewolves, they don’t transform into wolves. At most they share some genetics with wolves the same way humans are primates. Humans don’t have tails. Secondly, the argument that Blizzard has not specifically stated Worgen DO NOT have tails is weak as it’s clearly apparent already when looking at in game models.

Again, I am not imposing anything on you. I am sharing an opinion and backing it up with points. I don’t have the power to silence anyone nor would I want to. Keep asking for tails. I am simply pointing out how futile it is as it doesn’t make any sense.

There have been enough Worgen players to have legitimately declared on these forums they don’t want a tail on their character(s) to make most of us agree that tails should be optional.

They’ll get a tail and they’ll like it

No! Bad pupper. Bad!

Didn’t blizzard add Upright orcs even though they were not depicted that way orginally in WoW?

Upright Orcs were the norm before WoW, so kinda yeah. Only warlocks (Gul’dan mostly) were ever shown previous to WoW to be hunched over at all.

For my own sanity I’m just adding the obvious troll to my ignore list. Saying such nonsense as the idea that worgen aren’t werewolves is just beyond dumb. Werewolves are people who due to a curse upon them from either another werewolf or other means transforms into a wolf person…which is EXACTLY the same as how worgen are. Anyone who even tries to say otherwise is a troll and shall be ignored. More so if they’re trying to rationalize a dumb reason for why worgen can’t get something as small as an optional tail when countless races already have gotten things they didn’t have prior because their players wanted them.

Yeah the developers showing preferential treatment to most elves and humans but forcing the rest of us to fight over scraps is beyond disgusting at this point.

Back to support optional tails for worgen. As you can see i have been busy leveling up my characters so i have not replied to this forum for awhile but i have been reading it. once the forum updates it should show me as level 80.

Another year goes by… still no tails… Blizzard don’t keep us waiting forever, give us our tails this year…

So you agree that other games from blizzard can be included in what the race is.

Uh…? Yes?

Well Warcraft related ones anyways. Hearthstone has a rather large amount of worgen, with tails, for instance and its been fairly consistent that Blizzard has added material from Hearthstone into WoW proper. So its entirely plausible that those tailed worgen could become relevant to WoW itself.

HoTS also has Genn in it and I believe, while done poorly by most metrics, the heritage armor was developed from his general look in that game. Again… poorly… but still.

The devs do this with both classes / races. It isn’t professional at all.
