Fun fact, Final Fantasy 16 has mobs called “Worgen” and guess what? They have a tail. If Final Fantasy can do it, so can WoW! Especially since ya know, Hearthstone itself has tailed worgens…

You are all going about this the wrong way.
The following is all true:

Would an optional worgen tail be awesome?
– Of course it would. -
Does a optional tail fit in with WoW lore?
– Of course it does. -
Are Worgen long overdue for lots of other customizations?
– Boy are they ever. -
Could this be rolled out as a questline to unlock the new appearances?
– Perfect way to bump up that player engagement metric
What you’re all missing is “What’s in it for Microsoft”?

They have to pay for all this work, what would YOU do to help them not only recoup those loses but make enough of a profit for it to all be worthwhile?

What if they sold a treasure chest that contained a seed quest that unlocked a “Druids of the Scythe” racial questline that required a lengthy grind that slowly unlocked appearances with the final being an optional tail - would you do it?

This has nothing to do with “late stage capitalism”, whatever that’s supposed to be.
It has to do with motivation. It’s been years and years and years, and several opportunities have presented themselves for change like the liberation of Gilneas, or meeting Goldrinn in the Emerald Dream.
Seems pretty clear “someone” at Blizzard is against this idea, so you all should be looking for ways to change their mind.

Well, i’m not sure but, theres over 15k post, with at least 1000 different people just asking for tails, isnt that enough money? PER MONTH btw… consider it for a moment. 1000 x 15$ (although i doubt its only 1000) that would be 15k in total every month, theres simple not an excuse for that, because when there was a new elf customization, people asked in the forum, and they got it, search it up, darkfallen, high elves, etc…
(This has been going on since BFA, soo, 4-6 years? 15$ per month per 4 years lol)
Look at how many people collecting mounts and pets, i dont think people would mind wasting extra money on a customization, people do that all of the time on other games! take ff14 as an example (Note that, customizations asked for the community wanst a store thing, like the Darkfallen and the High elves previously mentioned, Same goes with Man’ari! and every extra customization that wasnt on the game before, and was very asked for the community on the forums)
i feel like it should be a droppable item rather than a store item, but like i said, people would buy it ANYWAY.
I express my desire for an Optional Tail for Worgen and repeat it often so they don’t forget. Don’t need to do much more.
Pretending that Microsoft somehow matters in a game that has continued to be updated and had things added without some grandiose cash shop grab is ridiculous.

You’re talking about a company that can’t even be bothered to recolor a mount for their twitch giveaways. They will do as little as they possibly can to provide “content” for the players. Clearly, after all these years and all these thousands of posts, they have done nothing, so maybe try something else?

Like mentioned before, people asked for Man’ari, Dark rangers, High elves… and guess what, they gave them, whats the thing against worgens? xD

The part 1 of this thread started way back in like mid BFA maybe? Worgen’s requesting tails in BFA. And here we are in TWW and still nothing. Not even as much as a peep from the devs.
Nothing in yes.

Only thing we’ve gotten from them to know they’ve heard us is…that dang female dracthyr joke. There’s clearly someone at Blizz that’s going out of their way to make sure worgen get as little as possible and honestly I don’t are who they are…that is wrong to do to part of your community for any reason they need to be called out on their crud and either replaced or taken out of that ability to decide what we do and don’t get for worgen as the BS needs to stop…not alter oh no…it needs to stop now. That or burn down Silvermoon in Midnight…I’m sick and tired of elves getting all the stuff and treated like favorite children and spoiled… I don’t care if I upset people I’ll join Battlecruiser on the serious boat if I must…worgen’s need optional tails…not later… now. The abuse to worgen needs to cease… the hate needs to cease… justice needs to be served. I mean I’ve been finding I play WoW less and less lately and I know worgen getting an option of a tail would fix that but yeah no…if this is how Blizz is going to be…bullying part of their playerbase… I don’t need to give them my money. I’d happily buy a quest starter from the shop for the price of an outfit or mount if need be but I’m beyond sick of their silence.

And yet, there are no optional tails for Worgen. Years of evidence belie YOUR argument.
This isn’t a situation of “Blizz just hasn’t gotten to it yet”.
This is “Blizzard isn’t going to do it unless they have a good reason”.
What’s been done before isn’t working, including thousands upon thousands of posts asking, sometimes begging, for optional tails and other cosmetic improvements to the Worgen model.
New tactics are required. My suggestion is simply to “make it profitable”. I’m more than happy to listen to alternative suggestions. What’s yours?
at the very least nobody is accusing me of going rabid with my last post… may of accidentally licked one of my knives… good thing I left off the lethal poison but uh…that was a trip but anyways yeah give worgen tails…now excuse me while I go find my anti venom I lost feeling in my tail…hoping worgen get their own in the near future.
Also yes I’m just being silly but still GIVE WORGEN OPTIONAL TAILS …now where did I put that anti venom…

Kinda wish priests could cure poison… anyways um yeah give worgen tails please no reason to make them wait 10+ years only to give them half baked things. Getting Gilneas back for example could of been so much more epic…but it was…very hollow. Guessing they got the same thing Gnomes got when gnomes did that reclaim gnomeregan thing… supposedly claim ‘yay we got our city back’ but in reality it’s all ‘okay…still can’t use our city but at least we cleared out the squatters’… so…okay I guess? I kinda wanted to see Genn tear out that priest’s throat with his teeth for trying to ‘cleanse’ his son’s grave but instead he has us do that for him. Hopefully the optional tails aren’t as half done or whatever as retaking Gilneas but it does need to happen

You have your answer - Worgen in Warcraft don’t have tails.
That’s like asking a cactus why it doesn’t grow wings and fly - and expecting an answer every 5 seconds….

But we are asking for them to be added. We dont care that its never existed. There is a ton of stuff in the game that never existed then was added one way or another. For one reason or another. You telling us no with some stupid… Oh why cant gnomes have Tauren horns on their eyes is just the icing on the cake of how far people are willing to go to tell us we can’t ask for customization for the race we play. Get out of here with your pathetic post of nonsence. It is not unreasonable for the Wolf like race to ask for an optional tail to be added. We even are willing to have it be optional so people can choose the current look or the new one and we are asking for something that makes since as far as something that would naturally be on a race.
