Tbh unless you can explain how this will make them money I don’t think they will care. Especially with this being an ally only addition.

I’ve talked to plenty of horde players that mentioned a tail alone would make them faction swap and even other people on the alliance to race change. Some people even subscribe again simply just to check it out. When you bring in the topic of money, Blizzard can easily make back the money spent in order to develop the tails in the first place. It doesn’t really take up too much resource. Also the fact that a solid handful of vulpera players faction changed from worgens simply because they had a tail. A tail makes a lot of difference to some people. Imagine if Vulperas didn’t have a tail. D:
The thing that always threw people off from playing worgens all these years were the horrendous models we have to live with for almost a decade. After the model update, you see a worgen in every corner now of Oribos and when pugging around in mythic+/raids/arenas. Less rare now, but still more than what we had before.
The thing still holding people back from playing worgens again thought if you ask around, is the fact that we severely lack actual customization options. A tail option alone would give a huge feeling of uniqueness around the race, along side actual hair styles, more ear options, ect.
Worgen options alone wouldn’t fix the problem of faction imbalance going on, but it would be a start, especially if they actually do a racial rework since we’ve had the same racial since we first released. Only update we’ve ever received was a nerf to our dark flight from 70% to 40%. Not only that, it will make people feel like they are actually listening and continue to subscribe to the game, which means even more money.

Let’s be fair here. When it comes to money, Blizzard is all about it. So if you tell em something will make em more money, they might actually think about it. ;D

Money is hardly the main thing.
Otherwise we’d have a lot more than we do for pay.
People who use that excuse are just upset they didn’t get what they wanted and lashing out.
Or using it to keep someone from something.

Jokes aside, yeah, the cash shop could be a LOT worse than people claim it is to be. You look at other mmorpg and the amount of stuff on there is crazy. Sure a good chunk of em are free to play and use the cash shop to fund their game, but still, when it comes to how much we have on wow, it’s actually not much at all. We get like what, only 5 or 6 new things a year on the store? Even recently they actually removed stuff from the cash store such as the helmet trasnmogs and the appearance change option. People generally tend to blow the whole pay2cosmetic stuff way out of proportion.

This thread has a really solid like to reply ratio too when you go back and look at every top replied/top viewed thread. This thread has more likes going on than even one of the biggest blood elf threads, which is quite a handful. Only non blood elf thread that goes above this one is the stop portal removal thread.
Numbers and statistics isn’t really something go by, but this thread at least shows you have people dedicated to the tail ever since mid last year. The people want tail, so let there be tail! Optional tail by the way. If you don’t want it, you can continue not having one.

There’s nothing to fix, Worgen not having tails is intended. Going against that is a contradiction of the lore. I have provided proof of this a few times already, and I am completely willing to do so again if requested as I understand it’d be a lot to scroll up to find. It’s been directly stated that all worgen do not have tails. And while some here have claimed that the evidence is strictly only for Genn, that is entirely false as the evidence mentions all of the worgen race.
As this is the second time now I’ve been flagged for this specific post I just want to explain something to those reporting it. I am not in any way spamming, nor trolling. I have not repeated the same phrases, unlike the handful of individuals here that have been doing that very thing. However, and what should be completely clear to others, since they’re “on your side” you won’t point them out. It’s completely hypocritical and I find it very upsetting that this behavior is going on. I haven’t in any way been attempting to derail the thread. Additionally, the real people attempting to pick fights, harass, and insult me are the very people reporting me.
I’ve been completely civil.

Just because we get tails doesn’t mean everyone will be forced to have a tail. Genn has already been stated to not have a tail, so he won’t suddenly grow one. If you don’t want a tail, you are free to not have one, meanwhile if you do want one, you can have one. Much like straight back Orcs, night warrior night elves, and long tailed draeneis, you won’t log and and suddenly forced to have the new thing. This is just a option. Nothing harmful at all.
