Calling people snowflakes isn’t going to help your cause.
Anyways, giving Worgen tails goes against the lore so it’s a concrete no.

Many things go against the lore, like most recently, blood elves getting purple eyes. It was originally a bug in the beta but blizzard literally said “It looked cool, so our mistake is your gain” or something like that, and just gave em purple eye option even thought nothing at all in the lore states that they now can get purple eyes, as where yellow eyes that does have a clear lore explanation when that got added in and even had a whole mini quest for it.
Meanwhile with worgens and the whole tail situation, you can literally spin it as “Worgens now have better control over their worgen form, and can now revert to a point where they now also have a tail, and go in to human form and stay in human form during combat, AND can use wolf form as a druid just like the original worgens.”
You can do the same thing they did for golden eye blood elves and even night warrior eyes where worgens get a questline from Goldrinn to be able to tap in to the full potential of the worgen curse and instead of a curse, claim it as a gift in a sense, a result of that is them getting a tail option along with it.
Edit: Here is said tweet btw reguarding the purple eyes that are “against the lore”:
Buff worgen racials for pvp
I’ll support worgen having tails if:
Besides, aren’t you afraid that someone will grab your tail in PVP and knock you to the ground?
There is no hard lore to contend it.
The only lore there is currently is that in game worgen do not have tails, and Blizzard has on two occasions upheld it.
That said, adding tails, a popular request, will not change anything about worgen. Especially if it is optional. Nothing about the race will change nor will the actual lore about them.
I, personally, want them to change Darkflight from a sprint into a heroic Leap or grappling Hook like ability.
While body jewelry isn’t what I would be interested in I don’t see why not?
The draenei tailless option also seems weird to me but sure why not?
No… Cause thats not a game feature.
That doesn’t go against the lore. Worgen with tails does.
Worgen dont need tails. /thread
As I mentioned earlier. Worgen with tails wont change anything at all about the lore… it just adds to it.
Its not a hard lore change.
We’re not making Eredar into a race that never existed before now strongly tied to the Light.
Threads about a request to add tails as an option for Worgen.
Its not really about whether they need them or not.
It does actually. Blizzard made it clear that blood elves eyes are influenced off of specific things such as turning green from using fel magic, yellow because of the sunwell getting cleansed, ect. They change depending on the situation that goes on around them, which influences their eye color. As far as we’re aware, there is zero explanation towards the sudden purple eyes. Nothing major has happened in recent times to make them turn purple, thus it being against the lore. They even said it in that tweet. It was a bug, but kept it anyways just because it looked nice.
And once again, just like I said, things can change in the lore. Worgens had tails in their wolf form prior to todays worgen form we know of, so you can very easily come up with some kind of lore reason to have em get that tail back. They literally have every single feature of their wolf form other than the tail. Who knows, maybe they can get that tail specifically if they figured something out?
I am certainly against any kind of massive change that has zero explenation what so ever myself, which is why i’ve stated many times in the past that when they implement it, I do want some kind of quest or something that explains them suddenly getting their tails back much like the golden eyes for blood elves. It’s all about having a open mind with these things instead of just blatantly saying “no” without so much as trying to discuss it.
You are the reason we have CAUTION HOT on coffee lids.
Let me change my answer.
If it means worgan get a new model update, and they have an option to have tails or no trails, im down.
There is no way Blizzard will add in tails and make it a mandatory thing. When they add it in, it will 100% be optional. You won’t log in and suddenly have a tail, you will have to go to a barber shop, or have to do a quest to unlock a tail option in order to get it, and if you choose not to, then that’s completely fine, you’ll still be the same tail-less worgen you were prior to the tail implementation!
Will be like upright orcs or BONELESS undeads or even bald characters. You won’t be forced to play with those new options, it’s completely up to you if you want to use said option or not.
The barber shop can change men to ladies and ladies to men.
So a tail should be childs play.
I honestly feel bad for barbers in wow. They always have to do the impossible even thought all they signed up for was just to cut hair.
Arcane magic. It took me literally zero brain power to figure that out for you.
Stunning retort.
Not sure they need a model update. Just additional options.
The point was always for it to be optional…
I mean honestly… Right?
Among high elves (and thus blood elves) arcane magic makes them blue.
Purple is kinda just not explained.
That’s funny, I thought Arcane dabbling was the whole outcry for Belves to get BLUE eyes, not PURPLE. Don’t think it’s the ace you think it is, champ.
Also Give Worgen Tails.
I don’t recall Pandaren being color blind, because Arcane is also purple. Additionally, some Blood Elves (like Warlocks) use Void magic as well. That is also purple, in case you weren’t aware of colors.
It’s like you forgot that Arcane is literally purple. Mana is blue.
Cite your source.
Where is it stated that Arcane makes purple eyes for Thalassians?
Cause the only time thats been mentioned, Blue is the color arcane makes as far as the eye colors for Thalassians.
Purple has no basis in the lore at this time. Its just a nice new eye color they gave us. While its likely that it stems from some form of magic use, we cannot at this time, say what that is. The Lore doesn’t support it.
Also note: the Void Elves had purple first. This likely would place Purple as a void based color, though, again, Blizzard has never actually linked purple eye colors among thalassians to any magic.
Blue is the color arcane makes
No it isn’t, it’s their NATURAL eye color. It’s not tied to any specific magic. High Elves also have Brown and Grey colored eyes as part of their natural eye color possibilities.
