I laughed at this one, good point. Very good point. Modern WOW is all about go go go mentality. It’s also what causes a lot of toxicity. It stresses people out to constantly be going forward full blast, no stops, and if you let up at all you get harassed by other players. It really sucks and it’s another reason why I’m looking forward to Classic so much. One can compare modern WOW mentality it to driving on the highway - drivers are going 60-70+ MPH surrounded by other drivers; everyone’s on edge, in a constant fight-or-flight mode, almost waiting for someone to make a mistake and overreacting to the choices others make. Classic is more like that stroll on the beach where you take your time and soak everything in, appreciating it all for what it is.
I guess what I mean, to stay on topic, is take your time. Pay attention. Read everything, understand everything. Don’t just mindlessly click and key press through your WOW experience hoping everything will work out exactly the way you want it to.
It takes less than a second to make sure your are queued for the right thing.
You can - once queued - drop the dungeon, if your in the wrong one, by clicking on the eye in your mini-map.
This is not something the game needs. Its a sign from the universe that you need to be careful about pressing buttons before you select the right option.
Genuine question: If you aren’t situationally-aware enough to pay attention to what you’re queuing for, do you really think you’ll pay attention to any additional warning pop-ups?
You assume OP is being obviously ridiculous to elicit a reaction. It’s just as likely that OP is so oblivious as to be utterly unaware of their own ridiculousness.
Well I think that the human brain filters things out, like my mind is totally smart enough to know the gist of what I have to do in a dungeon and the basics of the mechanics etc.
But as queing for dungeons is kind of like an automatic thing you don’t have to think about most the time, that’s why sometimes people don’t pay attention to what they doing, I mean let’s face it, normally you can only queue for random BFA heroics, it’s not like you queue for mythic dungeons outside of a premade group. That’s why it gets confusing, as the brain isn’t used to sorting out timewalking from normal BFA dungeons is all.
